Prologue
A young girl casually walked in the park. Not because it was a beautiful night, but because she had a job to do. She looked around cautiously with a stake in hand, just in case if an unwanted visitor or visitors happened to show up. Unknowingly, there was a shadow following her.
The stranger continued to follow her, watching her every move. Carefully planning his next step and plan to attack. He was like no ordinary person. He was very strong and had a special feature...a flaw in nature. But this one had been created, not made by nature. For nature could never create something like this.
Lucky, girl had special powers. Much more strength and healing abilities than the average human could have. She was the one who knew what they were and the one who could stop them. She knew there was someone behind her. He had stepped close enough for her to sense him. She quickly turned around, facing an ugly monster. A vampire.
He was smart. He quickly knocked the stake from her hand. He grabbed her by the wrists and used his strength to hold her still.
The girl used this against him, lifting herself up off the ground, kicking him in the stomach. He fell backwards, causing her to fall back. Now that her wrists were free from the vampire's grasp, she quickly crawled over and grabbed the stake. This time, she held it firmly in her hand. She stood in fighting mode, ready for his next move.
The vampire quickly recovered from the hit in his stomach. He stood up ready to take on this young girl. He rushed at her quickly, not stopping to even think about what he was doing. Soon, he was on the ground, tripped by a root.
She walked over to him and plunged the stake into his heart and quickly pulling it out. She watched as the demon turned to dust. Hot from the fight, she wiped the sweat off her brow.
Suddenly, another figure walked out from the shadows. She looked up, knowing that another vampire had come to challenge her.
"Bravo," he clapped his hands slowly. His voice was British and he had blonde hair. His face was human, but she knew he wasn't. "That's a pretty good job you did there, slayer." He walked closer to her.
She raised the stake up. "So," she huffed out, "You came here to fight me? You just saw what happened to your friend here." Her voice was strong and held confidence in it.
"Well, yes. See, you were good, but not good enough." With that, charged at her.
She knew this routine. She punched tried to punch him, but he blocked. She stood there confused for a moment, but that was a moment that wasn't supposed to be wasted.
He tripped her and watched as the stake rolled out of her hand. She laid there, wind knocked out of her and her legs hurting. He picked her up by the neck and watched as she struggled. She knew it was no use. He held her up, letting her feet touch the ground.
"Now, now, love. It's no good struggling," he could smell her fear. He could tell that she had never met anyone else this strong. He brushed her blonde hair away from her neck.
She continued to struggle. She knew it was no help, but she was going to die trying. She looked at him as he changed to his vampire face. All she was thinking about was how incredibly strong he was.
He tilted her neck just a little. Then, he tilted his own, ready to go in for the kill. He put his mouth right along her neck. "You're going to love what you'll become," he promised.
Her eyes opened wide and she cried out, "No! No!" her voice was barley a whisper and it was rough because of his grip.
He quickly sunk his fangs into her neck. Drinking her blood as if it was his first taste. He quickly pulled away from the excitement, before he drank it all. Then bit into his palm, making two small punctures in. He held it up to the young girl's mouth and lifted up her head to make her drink.
After a few minutes, he pulled his hand away. He licked his hand, then the licked the two punctures in the girl's neck. His hands quickly scooped her up and he carried her into the night.
