Buffy walked out of the Bronze with her to best friends, Willow and Xander, as Angelus watched them laughing and having a good time.
He wanted to stalk right over and wipe the smile right off her face. Buffy's pretty face. Make her feel pain. Beautiful Buffy, he had been thinking that a lot lately--how pretty she was when she cried. How much it made him happy when she was hurting. But it was something else that attracted him to her now.
It wasn't the Bloodlust, not her pain. It was killing him to know what this was, this attraction; this feel of love... "Love," he smirked out loud to himself.
"Love."
