I am going to assume that you have come to this web page to find out how to construct a Home Theatre Personal Computer (HTPC). First I have to say that building an HTPC is not for the technically inept and not for people who don't have much time to spend on it. Although hopefully this guide will will make it easier for you to configure your system faster than it took me to do my own.

Although there are a number of fully integrated products that claim to do everything that you need, I have not been impressed with any of them. Becuase of this I went down my own path of looking for different software packages that would fulfill my requirements .
