Larisah's Fantasy Book Review |

I love to read and I am just betting a few others in the realms do, too. So if you are out there, and looking for a good read, here are a few that I
enjoyed and I hope you give them a look to see if you might as well. I will be updating this periodically. You never know when another great book will be written. |

A Game of Thrones by George Martin Great book with a very intricate plot. Good characters and lots of action, for those seeking bloody battles. I have read it twice!!!! He has another, soon to be out, and I am really looking forward to it.

The Baker's Boy by J.V. Jones Lots of magic and danger in this book. Could not put it down. Even skipped a few hours of Dragonrealms to finish it. Shhh, don't tell Manawydan. There
are also two terrific sequels.

The Waterborn by J. Gregory Keyes Here is another book hard to put down. It is a different kind of fantasy book. One I would keep in my library rather than sell off. A very young heroin
and a not so saintly hero make it an interesting read. Be prepared to enjoy something new.

Black Sun Rising by C.S. Friedman

Dark fantasy at its best. I read this book when it first came out in 1995 and am about to start reading it again. It has two great sequels, and I had better dig them out too. Magic, dreams, clerics, and innocent virgins running though a deadly forest..what more could you ask for! |
