Science Fiction and Coffee | |||||
Entry for February 15, 2007
I have not updated my webpage for a long time, but apparently Yahoo! offers a blog manager, so now I don't really have to update my website. I just need to write a new entry on my blog and voila it's updated.
Regarding coffee, I can't believe that the directions instruct you to use 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds per 6 oz. of water these days. I use a heaping tablespoon myself. And the coffees I'm talking about are Starbucks or Peet's, etc. I like my coffee strong, but 2 tablespoons seems like overkill. Regarding science fiction, I have basically stopped reading any fiction altogether except for CJ Cherryh's Foreigner series. Cherryh's latest book in the series is called Deliverer and came out this month. I don't read much due to lack of time, but also due to my lack of interest in anything else I've seen on the bookstore shelves. I have, however, still been watching science fiction. Mainly Battlestar Galactica, and Lost (if you consider that science fiction). Like many, I was originally set against the new Battlestar Galactica, but after watching the mini-movie and subsequent first season, I have to admit it is good drama set in outerspace. As for Lost, the writers need to start exposing answers to some long-lived mysteries because the audience's patience is running thin. 2007-02-16 02:43:40 GMT
