Breif rehearsal

So what is it that you do?

I offer a session service for recording and performing solo artists, and a deputising service for existing artists whose regular drummer is unavailable. My rates are reasonable, and available on request and can easily be negotiated.

I also offer background vocals, some lead vocal work, and a lyric writing service.

I can also play rhythm guitar, acoustically and electrically; and bass if required.

So why choose me?

So what equipment have you got?

Please understand that the below list should not be considered an endorsement of any product or company.

All drums are Pearl Export shells finished in Blue unless otherwise stated.

By retuning the drums, a practice I perform before starting to play in the venue or studio regardless of the situation, I can achieve practically any sound or feel.

So what do you sound like?

Have a listen. There are 3 tracks which I feel highlight my skills in various areas which I've highlighted in the blurb for each track.

Far Away - (©2002 - Tim Kenyon) This track was recorded in a home studio and is a track I wrote, and performed. All but 3 (of the 12 harmony lines) and all the instruments were recorded by me. There is space in the track for a guitar solo which never got recorded. My gracious thanks to Ellis Crow for his help, guidance, patience, and skill in finishing off this piece. This highlights my ability to develop a drum track to compliment the song.

Wade In The Water - (© unknown) This track was recorded live at a concert. The drums were added late in rehearsals for the show with only 1 run through. This highlights my ability to improvise, communicate with live performers, think on my feet, and play more jazzy/bluesy styles.

Good To Be Alive - (© Geffen Records) This is a Slash's Snakepit track from their first album I loved. This was recorded in my spare room so isn't the highest quality, but demonstrates my ability to use funk grooves, driving rhythms, subsiadiary snares, and complex bass drum patterns
