Since the beginning of my adventurer life, I have played Mystara, Forgotten Realms, Krynn of AD&D. I have also played Mage and Call of Cthulhu.
The fantasy character I had first played was Sturm Brightblade. He is a man of honor, all other males in his family are knights. I have loved him so much and those days I had had an honor which is my life. After Sturm, I had read about Dragonlance and had a new hero, Tas. Playing a kender is so enjoyable for yourself, but others do not feel so. :)) Dragonlance is a fantasy game of AD&D and I always read the books of Margeret and Tracy with pleasure. Now new generation, which is the fifth, live in Krynn and people play Dragonlance scenarios with new SAGA rules.
I had played a Chinese Shaman living in New Orleans in a Mage campaign. I had had a very good relationship with spirits. I am from Dreamspeakers. It is a tradition of spirits. Mage is a game of White Wolf and the Ascension occurs in this century.
I had been a journalist, a detective, and a prof. in Call of Cthulhu games. Call of Cthulhu is a horror fantasy game which has the roots from the H.P. Lovecraft novels. When we play CoC, we always use some effects of horror like frightining sound and music, dark environments. I think the best is playing a CoC scenario in a stormy night.
I feel that Role Playing World is so exciting, enjoyable, attractive, and some times frightening! I am sorry that I have not begun playing rpgs before I am 20.
