The Book of Beasts is an Open Gaming Content (OGC) role playing source book. The latest release is maintained in the files section of the Yahoo Book of Beasts group. (You'll need to join to access the files, but it's free membership.) The book contains statistics and descriptions for a host of unique creatures suitable for use in fantasy, science fiction, and historical settings. The book also contains several templates that you can use to modifying existing monsters.
