After the success of the gestalt Tripredacus, Predaking yearned for more power and more protection considering the amount of Maximals being produced. He decided to re-create the process which made Tripredacus. Predaking made exact duplicates of the 4 generals sparks, and began to fix them new bodies. Razorbeast who constantly stalked the Predacon home base reported to Maximal central that Predaking planned to make another gestalt similar to Tripredacus. The Maximal council met to talk about the situation, and it was decided that 4 generals, Silverbolt, Ironhide, Prowl, and Magnus were to give up their sparks and place theirs where the new cloned sparks were being held. With the aid of Rattrap and Packrat, Razorbeast managed to sneak in, destroy the clones sparks and replace them with those of the four Maximal generals.
Now a master of splicing sparks, General Ramhorn proceeded to fuse one of the four sparks into the other three. Predaking took these sparks and placed them into brand new Predacon bodies. Once revived, the three new robots attacked Predaking leaving him severely damaged and escaped the Predacon home base. Finding their way back to Maximal central, they fixed new bodies for themselves using the Predacon gestalt technology. Once created, they merged to form a super robot. Magnus awakened before the rest of the Maximal council as the gestalt, and declared himself Magnaboss, supreme commander of the Maximal armies. The three council members bodies were designed to be able to withstand long times being merged as Magnaboss, giving them a direct advantage over Tripredacus. Now the Maximals have a weapon and leader of great power which will enable them to fight the forces of the Predacons with greater chances of victory.
