Optimus Primal

The battle had raged on for decades, the Maximals were being defeated by the ever more powerful Predacon armies led by Tripredacus under Predaking's supervision. Magnaboss, appointed leader of the Maximals was too interested in destroying Predaking and Tripredacus, that he disregarded the threat posed by the other rogue Predacons such as Megatron, Manterror, and Insecticon. The elders met with Magnaboss to create a new Maximal capable of leading them through the new dark age of Cybertron and on to victory. The experiment created a Maximal clone of the original Optimus Prime. All Maximals of high rank were there when he came on line, and a spark was gifted to him from Primus. When the new Maximal leader awoke, all rejoiced. The excitement and the festivities around him made him afraid, so afraid that to everyone's dismay, he cowered in the corner of the room. Razorbeast approached the new Prime, accordingly named Optimus Primal. He comforted Optimus, and explained what was expected of him. Razorbeast, remembering his original leader Optimus Prime, promised to teach Optimus Primal all he needed to know to become a great leader. Later that evening, in a secluded part of Maximal headquarters, Razorbeast met with Magnaboss and The Autobot Elders regarding Optimus Primal. "He is not fit to be our leader,"claimed Razorbeast. "He is an exact duplicate of the Prime, Optimus Prime, he will do for the Maximals, what Prime did for the Autobots." Said Magnaboss. "You are a fool Magnaboss!" "What! How dare you insult me in front of our forefathers! I will have you scrapped!…" "What you don't realize is that you did clone Optimus Prime, but in doing so forgot that without the Matrix of leadership, he is NOT what you expected him to be, and therefore what we have, is an exact replica of what Prime was before he had the Matrix. Optimus Primal is a clone of Orion Pax!" "He will learn." Said one of the Elders from the darkness that always concealed them. "We were foolish to presume that we could clone Optimus as the leader he was. Magnaboss, you will continue to lead the Maximals, and bear in mind the gravity of your task. You must set your sights on ALL of the Predacons, and not their roots of evil. Optimus Primal will grow up in a sense, we have already assigned him a crew on the exploration ship called the Axalon which will unbeknownst by the crew, intervene and stop the Predacon rogue Megatron who has stolen the golden disk of Voyager, or at least he thinks he stole it. We had to put it within his reach in order for him to fulfill his later agenda. Optimus Primal will partake in the Beast Wars, in which he will emerge our great leader once they have ended." "How do you know so much?" said Magnaboss. "We know everything past, present, and future, and this must happen in order for your new leader to emerge as a Prime."
So it was said, and so it was done, he was touched by the Matrix of leadership and thus given what he needed to emerge as Optimal Optimus Primal, from the Beast Wars as Supreme leader of the Maximals. Ready and capable to lead the Maximals on to victory against the Predacons and the biggest menace of all, Predaking.
