From the Journal of Kostrzyn Lubartów, Wanderer of the Black Woods: en often gather together for a common purpose--whether it be political, academic or social—but in our Land, there seem to be a proliferation of strange groups which move behind the veil of everyday life. I have encountered my fair share of them, albeit usually indirectly... After all, there would be no sense in a secret society whose membership and activities are common knowledge. I must say that their very existence is troubling. How pure can the motives be of any group that operates in secrecy...?
