means the slave is unowned. Normally these unko-lared slaves wear a cloth camisk, not made of silk. In the camp,
these are kettle girls. They may serve only food and drink as they are unskilled in the arts of pleasing men.
White
, reserved for her Master's sole use. These are used by a Master when he has purchased a raw, untrained girl, usually a
virgin. She is only a little above a kettle girl in skill. She is learning how to please men, but not skilled enough yet to serve other
Masters. They may serve food and drink and have conversation from their knees. Corporal punishment is administered only by
their Masters. No honorable freeperson will cross the restrictions of the white silk. True slaves will work hard to learn their
skills so they can progress to the next level and become a real kajira.
Yellow
silks indicate that a girl has learned to please men and offer full service, along with serving food and drink. Most
camp-owned slaves are yellow silks. Yellows may be used fully by any camp member, usually for a fee. Many Masters also
will put their slaves in yellow silk so that they may share their pleasures. Again, a fee is usually charged for the rental of the
property. Yellows are fairly well versed in serving and pleasing sexually, but still have much to learn.
Red
They are given to kajirae who have taken the time to become
well-versed in Gorean ways, philosophies, etc., and have proven to be truly exceptional at pleasing men. Red silks are the mark
of a pleasure slave. A pleasure slave is deemed to be best in all sexual pleasures, in service and in dancing. Often the use of a
red silk requires permission of the kajira's Master, although some have been given permission to serve without asking. Again,
only City members may use their full services.
Other silks on Gor, not normally found in the City

Purple
means the slave serves the priest kings (and should be in the Sardar Mountains). Their garments are not silk but
plastic.
