Name: Gayle. I used to use others but now I'm too busy trying to find out who I am and who I can be.
dob: 01/09/1979
Interests: Many things. I have an insatiable curiosity which is sometimes a blessing, sometimes not. I enjoy jigsaws, and making noise. On a more social note I play underwater hockey or ("Octopush"). I also love going to church. I go to Bellevue Chapel in Edinburgh. If you're ever in the area do stop by.
Contacting me: Best through LiveJournal or icq (#11256808), my email is rather erratic but you can try it - gaylesmith@doctors.net.uk
Description: 5'4", 9-10stone variable, shoulder length brown hair, blue-grey eyes and freckles.
Fave albums: Usually my own weird mixes, however most stuff by Tori Amos, Erasure, DCTalk, Newsboys, Relient K, Rebecca St James, WoW mixes and suchlike.
Fave films: Sad stuff by most people's standards. My favourite at the moment is Ten Things I Hate AboutYou. Watch it and you'll get the idea. Also Labyrinth, Yellow Submarine and anything else by the Beatles, Star Wars and Romy And Michelle's High School Reunion.
Fave authors: Piers Anthony, Robert Jordan, Neil Gaiman, Philip Pullman, Tamora Pierce, Philip K Dick, JRR Tolkien and of course God who wrote 66 books, all totally different and absolutely addictive.
Fave quotes: "But she's a mutant, what if she never dates?" "Then you'll never date - oh I like that one!" (Ten Things I Hate About You).
"Neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 8 vs 38-39.
Fave Clubs: FuBar, Stirling, for one memorable night out. Otherwise wherever plays good tunes and has a decent dance floor.
Fave Pubs: The Caley Smaple room.
Fave Books: See above, anything by them.
Chat: Mostly RL only now I'm afraid, but I do read my LJ regularly and sometimes even update it!
Future plans: I'm just waiting to see what happens, I can't control whether or not I'm alive to see a new day, so I'm not going to plan beyond that...
Things I hate: When people try to be things they're not, (and I know I am big culprit here). When people don't think about why they are on this planet. If people think there is more to life than just existence and work but refuse to contemplate that somebody must have made it that way. Spinach.
Things I like: Jigsaws, cats. Being different. A good story. Talking to people. Company.
This page and its format was inspired by one of my greatest friends. We don't see eye to eye on everything though but he's a much nicer person than you might think.
