THE ARMIES OF THE 41st MILLENNIUM
The Space Marines - Created in the distant past through genetic manipulation and arcane science, Space Marines are Humanity's ultimate warriors, dedicated to the defense of the Emperor and the Imperium of Man. A Space Marine army is a compact force of elite warriors 
each one the equivalent of ten normal men. From the steadfast reliability of a Space Marine Tactical Squad to the alien-blasting power of the Predator Annihilator Tank, a Space Marine Army is flexible enough to defeat any opponent!
The Dark Eldar - Vile, insidious and completely evil, the mysterious Dark Eldar are piratical raiders who strike without warning, killing and enslaving all who stand in their way. No one is safe from their terrifying and vicious attacks as they drag their victims
back to their lairs for the most unspeakable of tortures. Pray that they don't take you alive!
Tyranids - Totally inhuman, the Tyranids are a deadly race of alien monstrosities that lives to consume all living matter. Encased in chitinous armor and wielding weapons that are an amalgam of living tissue and synthetic material, Tyranid broods rip, tear, slash, maim and mutilate everything in their path, their killing frenzy leaving nothing
but dismembered corpses in their wake.
The Sisters of Battle - The Sisters of Battle are the fighting arm of the Adeptus Ministorum - the holy church of the Imperium. Trained and equipped to the highest standards, they are utterly dedicated to the protection of the Imperial Faith. 
The armies of the Sisterhood fight in small units at close quarters often destroying the faithless with the purifying fires of their Flamers and Meltaguns.
Eldar - Ancient beyond reckoning, the scattered remnants of the Eldar race wage a constant struggle for survival across the galaxy. Often found drifting between the stars on vast starships known as Craftworlds, the warriors of the Eldar are varied and powerful. Although often outnumbered on the battlefield, the specialized combat techniques of the Aspect Warriors combined
with their strange and sophisticated technology makes Eldar armies deadly opponents for forces many times their own size.
Chaos - From within the Eye of Terror and other dark sanctuaries of evil, the vile legions of Chaos spill forth in a frenzy of wanton bloodletting and desecration. The dread forces of the Chaos Space Marine Legions - traitorous Space Marines who now fight for the glory of the dark gods, make Chaos armies one of the most fearsome opponents that any Commander could ever hope to face on the battlefields of the 41st millennium.
The Imperial Guard - Drawn from the millions of inhabited planets which make up the Imperium, the Imperial Guard is the largest fighting force ever assembled in the history of mankind. While individual Guardsmen cannot match the strength, ferocity, or ruthlessness of the Space Marines, Imperial Guard regiments are powerful fighting forces comprised of thousands
of men with hundreds of tanks, artillery pieces and armored regiments.
Orks - Orks are greenskinned monstrosities who spread across the universe in vast and brutal hordes. Living to fight anyone they encounter and when they're alone fighting each other, Ork WAAAGH!s (as their barbaric warbands are called) drift across the galaxy spreading conflict and strife in their wake. 
Ork weaponry and war machines are crude but effective and more than one more "sophisticated" army has fallen before the massed might of this savage green tide!
The Heroes of the Imperium - Often accompanying the elite forces of the Space Marines or the vast columns of the Imperial Guard, the Heroes of the Imperium represent the smaller yet equally deadly forces of other Imperial organizations. From the planet-destryoing might of the Inquisition to the deadly talents of the Officio Assassinorum, Imperial Agents lend their vital and often powerful skills to assist other Imperial armies with abilities they do not normally possess.
