Out of the chaos I have decided, once again, to restructure this website. I have been in Iraq for eleven monthis (at time of typing) and so far I have yet to write another journal log entry after posting these. If you are looking for my life story, you'll have to meet me face to face and ask for it. Don't ask if you are easily offended.
In the meantime I am going to restart my D&D-based page. In the past, my better-than-life alter ego, Cirrus Brightblade, owned this space in the fabric of the 'net. He moved out lmoat a year ago, into retirement, and a new, more enthusiasic character posse has surfaced.
Allow me the distinct honor to introduce Avarion Windseeker. In the future his life's story wil be posted here, with my own feeble artistry to describe what will be my most descript creation yet.
Avarion was 'born' around November 2003, where a friend of mine, Bill, asked me to create a 6th level character that was unique and would be fun for me to play. Obligingly I created Avarion, a fighter 3/abjurer 1 Elf with the winged template (see Savage Species). Working on the 6th level table Avarion proved to be a formidible fighter on the front lines as well as in the rear.
It was around January that I received the call to active duty, and it was then that we decided that Avarion needed to advance while I was gone. The rest of the group was going to continue, and my 'game departure' was easy enough to effect, with help from my DM.
These stories are based loosely on my own world, which I have yet to get published anywhere but in my head. There are a few out there who know more than they let on, but most have never heard of Artana, the world as a whole, nor the continents, oceans, countries, regions and cities that I have created since the day I left home.
Keep an eye out. I have all intent of having a published, readable, enjoyable book before the end of this deployment, and I hope that you, the readers, will enjoy them.
