Kung Fu: The Legend Continues is basically a continuation of the origional Kung Fu series from (correct me if I'm wrong) the sixties. Kung Fu is about the grand son of Kwai Chang Caine, who, incidentally has the same name, and his son Peter. Caine is a Shaoline Priest and Peter is a cop. Together they fight off the bad guys and evil spirits...

Kwai Chang Caine is the son of Matthew Caine and the grandson of Kwai Chang Caine. He teached his son, Peter, at a Shoalin Temple for many years, until that temple was destroyed when Peter was twelve. Caine had been led to believe Peter had parished. He wondered the world for years, until he came to China Town fifteen years later. Now he has been reunited with his son Peter...

Detective Peter Caine is a detective working in China Town. He once lived in a Shaolin Temple were he learned the art of Kung Fu with other students from his father and the other Shaolin Priest that lived there. After the temple was destroyed, Peter was taken in by Captain Blaisdell. When he got older, Peter followed in his faster father's foot steps and became a cop. He worked in Blaisedale's precinct. After a few years there, some time after he made detective, he was reunited with his father, Caine...

The Ancient is an old friend of Kwai Chang Caine's. He went by the name Ping Hi (tell me if I got that right, please. Thanks.) when he was at the temple with Caine and Peter. Since then he has changed it to Lo Si and most people call him The Ancient...

Captain Paul Blaisdell is Peter's foster father and is the captain at the precinct were Peter works. Blaisdell is married and has two daughters of his own. He eventually took a break from working (the actor died) and was replaced by Captain Karen Simms...

Detective Kermit Griffin used to work with Blaisdell in the millitary. Now he works at the same precinct as Peter. He usually carries with him a 38 special. Kermit, as he's called because he always wears green sunglasses, is a computer expert and he uses what he knows to help Peter and the others he works with. He and Captain Simms eventually developed a relationship...

Detective Jody Powell has been in love with Peter for a long time. And over the years working with him, she has learn much. She has never told Peter how she felt, and it's sometimes hard for her when she sees Peter with one of his many girlfriends...

Detective Mary Margaret Skalany has fallen for Caine. Even though he's old enough to be her father, she still has something for him. But since Caine found out his wife and Peter's mother could still be alive, Skalany knows she may loose him...

Chief Frank Strenlisch is the tough, no bull, chief of the precinct. He's tough on his subordinates, but fair. He has been working at the precinct for a long time. And he was good friends with Blaisdell...

Captain Karen Simms was brought in after Blaisdell left. Her first encounter with Peter was a very unpleasant one, for Peter. He accused her of cutting him off, then she identified herself as the new Captain. But since then, Simms and Peter have had a good relationship as Boss and Employee and as well as friends...

Detective Kelly Blake is one of Peter's many girlfriends. Like most of those he worked with, she has been through think and thin with him. Now Kelly is dating Chief Strenlisch...

Detective Blake is Chief Strenlisch's best friend at the precinct. And he usually sides with the Chief. Blake has no relation to his partner, Kelly, even though they share a last name...

Detective Jordan MacGuire, Vice is Peter's lastest girlfriend. She speciallizes in undercover work and that bothers Peter. But Jordan has a mind of her own and refuses to let Peter tell her what to do...
