Review:
Whereas Volume 1, Firstborn, didn't have much fighting, this volume makes up for it through very descriptive battle sequences, especially the strategic positioning of the armies. Since this is one of the few Dragonlance books with large scale warfare, I must give credit to the Douglas Niles for making it very interesting. On the character development side, Kith-Kanan's inner turmoil was another focus throughout the book, which was quite interesting.
Rating: 7/10.
