Review:
This book is a great climax for the trilogy.  Lyim has unbelievable plans.  Bram learns of his true origin.  And Guerrand comes to understand himself and his Test.  This book takes powerful magic, mixes it up with conquest, deceit, soul-searching, and sacrifice--and the result is a conclusion to an excellent trilogy. 
Rating: 9/10.
