April 29, 2000	Start of the 7th season on Swiss TV On Thursday, May 11, 2000, TSR the small Swiss TV station, will air the first episode of the 7th season, The sixth extinction. As usual, this broadcast will be in bilingual mode, allowing us to listen to the French soundtrack (from which I would not understand a single word), or to enjoy the original English version. Once again, the Swiss The X Files fans will be able to enjoy this brand new episode (from Europe's point of view, that is) long before German viewers can see it. Judging from last year, Pro 7, the commercial TV station that constantly brags about airing the very latest episodes of the hottest new series, will not start to broadcast the 7th season until September. Poor German fans! Anyway, those who can receive TSR, get ready at 9:55 pm on Thursday, May 11!
September 12, 1999	Start of the 6th season on German TV On Monday, September 20, The X Files will return to Germany. More than 5 months after the 6th season started on Swiss TV, German fans can finally enjoy the adventures of Scully and Mulder again. At 8:15 pm, the episode The Beginning will be on air on Pro 7. The episode will be followed by a Behind the scenes X Files special at 9:15 pm.
August 30, 1999	X Files back in Switzerland This is the big night: X Files resumes on TSR, in French and English. I suppose tonight's episode will be The rain king, although I'm not sure about that since the French episode titles are completely different from the English ones. Plus, I don't speak a word of French, so it's really hard to find out what episode is scheduled. Anyway, in in the meantime, Germany is still waiting for the 6th season to start (naa-na-naa-na-na-naaa).

June 22, 1999	X Philes in Switzerland: The show resumes on August 30, 1999 TSR has changed its program for the summer months and is now showing movies on Monday night. Therefore, The X Files will be off the air until August 30, 1999. Then, Mulder and Scully will be back in Switzerland with the remaining episodes of the 6th season.
May 17, 1999	X Philes in Switzerland: Get ready for the 6th season! While the German station Pro 7 keeps playing episodes from the 4th season, Switzerland's TSR started to play the 6th season a week ago. TSR broadcasts The X Files in French, so they don't have to buy the very expensive German - dubbed episodes. What really excites me is the fact that TSR broadcasts the series in bilingual mode, which allows us to enjoy the original English soundtrack! So, if you're able to receive TSR, tune in on Monday night. The X Files, named Aux frontieres du reel (it's a French station, remember) starts some time after 10 pm (times vary from week to week).
