It is a bright and sunny day, birds chirping and everything is right....

But then suddenly, a storm rises on the horizon and unleashes upon you in moments.

The rain pelts you as you run, lightning crashing all around you. You dash into the cover of the forest, hoping to find some sort of shelter from the storm. You duck between trees and under low branches, dashing through the underbrush, leaping over fallen trees and old logs until you finally come to a clearing. You stand there in a patch of moonlight and suddenly you realize that it is no longer raining. You look up and in the distances, beyond the trees, you see a tall castle tower rising either in front of or behind the mountain range; you cannot tell which. You travel towards it and then soon, you come to a wall built of silver and stone that stretches like a crescent from one side of a deep depression in the mountain side to the other, looking as though it is in need of repair.

You walk to the gate which is still standing and it mysteriously opens, showing you the insides. Inside, you see a ruined town and a destroyed castle. Thinking that you might find something inside, you walk between the gates. There is a sudden blue flash and then all around you you see people laughing and dancing, haggling and bartering and you suddenly realize that you are in the bazaar of Altreas. You look around and there are several tents that catch your attention as well as the road leading up to the castle itself. You turn back and look outside the gate at the forest and see...

You turn your back to the vision and enter the bazaar...

The first tent is red and a sign stands beside it, bearing upon it a large musical note. You hear the sounds of music from the inside and you deduce that this is a Music Shoppe... -last updated 12/20/98-

You take a look at the second tent, which is blue. It bears a sign that holds the words "Images". You take a closer look and you can swear you see a sign on a door inside that says "Rare Artwork" upon it... you feel drawn to explore it.-last updated 12/20/98-

This strange tent is green and inside is a statue of a Vampire and then another of a Werewolf. On the shelves are many manuals and guides upon various subjects, as well as sheets of paper with little lines and circles upon them. The sign upon the top reads "White-Wolf". You decide that this is one of those RolePlaying stores that you've heard about.

Your ear catches the sound of soft thrumming coming from a red tent a little ways up the road. Inside, you see several portals with signs above them reading things such as "Tower of Winds" and "Realm of Darkness"... you feel compelled to come and visit this place after you've explored everywhere here.-last updated 5/7/99-

Up this road, you see the White Dragon Castle, wherein sits the throne of Altreas. You hope to mayhap catch a glimpse of the King or maybe even one of the royal family or honored guests and read the scrolls upon them.-last updated 5/7/99-

From this tent come the sounds of music once again... you look inside and see many strange devices and what look like upgrades for these devices. The sign above the tent reads "Winamp Headquarters". You think to yourself "What's a Winamp?" You ponder entering this strange but wonderful place as you look upon the next tent...

As you look at this tent, you are suddenly struck with a sense of Deja Vu... as though you've been to this once already but you just can't quite recall when or where it was... you wonder if you should enter and mayhap refresh your memory....

You pass by a strange device that clicks as you pass it. Looking at it, you see the number -

You pass it by, shaking your head, muttering about technology and where it's going these days...

You walk a bit further, mind reeling with all the excitement and the wonderous things you've seen... you come to a book sitting on a pedestal and a magic pen sitting in an inkwell beside it, lying open on a blank page as if waiting for you... the pen beckons your hand to lift it and sign the page left for you.

You pass by a young woman with blue hair... you identify her as a Water Sorceress... as you pass, she turns to you and covers you with water...

You pass out and when you awaken, you find yourself outside a ruined castle wall and no memory of what you went through. You gaze at the castle and wonder what this feeling of familiarity is, this Deja Vu... you try the door, but it does not open so you give up. You turn around and walk off into the forest from where you came, not knowing how you got here, but promising to return someday to find out what lies behind those walls.
