The Line Not To Be Crossed

Chapter 1: Rachel

I sat annoyedly on my throne. I was mad and wistful. Mad that the glue to make me complete was killed, mad for something else unidetifiable.
That's why I was wistful. I used to know _what_ was tearing me up inside.
Tobias came into the throne room. "Rach. I cannot live without you! I know you want to love but-" I cut him off
by grabbing him by the shirt and growling: "Love leads to loss, my ally," and added: "Always." And with that I dropped him.

Chapter 2: Tobias

Before Rachel walked out of the throne room, I yelled: "Dare you leave me?! Like you did your friend, your BEST friend, and even FAMILY!!!"
She faltered as if shot, and sobbed, "I tried to save them!"
To which I answered "You also arranged it! Saying of it, and I quote, 'This is a kamakaze mission. More than one will likely die'!"
She dropped to her knees. I followed up with a quote from Shakespeare "'Tis better to  have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.'"
I recited perfectly cynical. "You realize that the golden haired boy who saw *him* land is the closest thing you have to two deceased warriors." I yelled when
Rachel stopped screaming. "What do you mean?" she asked.
"I am the nephew of one you knew as Ax." I replied flatly.
She walked up, lifted me from the floor and hugged me. She looked surprised at herself, pushed me away, and sat on her throne. I smiled, realizing that I had gotten to her, because she did not order him leave.
