I'm Rachel

A double voice poem by: Forlay

I'm brave
                             I'm scared
I'm strong
                             I'm weak
I don't need her
                             I need her
I'm Rachel           I'm Rachel
Never faltering
                             Always questioning
Working alone
                             Afraid by myself
Need to kill
                             Can harm no one
I'm Rachel            I'm Rachel.
                             She can't see we
don't
                            need eachother
I'm Rachel          I'm Rachel
Well, maybe
I do need her
                            Neither of us can
                            think without the other
I still work
better alone
                           But together we can
                           do anything.
We're Rachel    We're Rachel

Quick explanation of 'Double Voice' poetry: Double Voice poetry is when you have two people saying the poem and alternate lines. For example, in this poem, it starts out with Mean Rachel saying 'I'm brave' followed by Nice Rachel's 'I'm scared' and occasionally the two speak at the same time (when the words are on the same line as opposed to being staggered) Hope you liked it!!! 1
