A Rachel poem:

TOUCHING SKY

By Articuna16

I envy the clouds who pass
without a sky to sail upon,
as I,
a warrior
and you, a dreamer,
somehow touch a sky
ahead of us.

I feel we fly
on the path to fight together,
I hear your whispers speak
"Rachel . . ." into my ear,
as cries in oblivion fills
your pain admist somewhere.

Only in imagination,
are our hands entwined against
a chain of many selves.

Beneath the wars and fear,
and over I, a
raging strength
and you, a sweet yet bitter
heart.
Against an enemy pursuing
to entrap a world not knowing
why.

No words
are spoke to believe our will,
as you perch upon my shoulder
still.

While maybe touching sky
will be our way,
from a world we runaway,
and to clouds who heed to
sail one day.

Sending me to seek
the words to whisper to you,
go back in time
where I shall no more hear the
beating of your wings.

And touching you,
touching sky,
 will touch the words
I whisper in return,
"Tobias..."
