The Day the Chicken Flew the Coop

OK! So this isn't a story about a chicken that flew some coop. I just liked the title. It's funny. This is a story about a time traveling chicken.!!

It was a rainy day on the farm. One of the chickens got out of his cage. That chicken sneaked into the house where the people lived.

"Gadget, get out of here!" The lady yelled. She was cooking chicken noodle soup. Gadget, the chicken, smelled it and waddled out of the kitchen as fast as he could. He ran into the basement.

Humans don't know this, but chickens are very smart animals.

"Hmm. A bunch of metal things, buttons, and plastic gadgets." Gadget thought to himself. He started pecking at the gadgets and gizmos. He welded stuff together and when he was finished he had one huge...

Time Machine!!!

Gadget walked into his time machine just as the people walked into the basement. The time machine started glowing and then it diappeared.

Gadget was the first time traveling chicken! The time machine reappeared and Gadget came out and walked out and back to his cage. The people were too stunned to move.

"Hey, I just traveled back in time. I found out about famous chickens in history!" Gadget told all his chicken friends in the cage.

Ever since then chickens have been travelling all through time and people are just to stupid to figure out how...
