Do you know WHO I am?

This is me with the TARDIS

Who am I? Well, lets start with the basics. My name is Simon, I was born in a hospital just outside Swindon on the 27th of May in the year 1981 in the timescale you call anno domini. I lived in Lyneham for several years, then moved to a smallish market town in deepest darkest Wiltshire called Chippenham. after living there for a few more years (about twelve, I'm not totally sure) I went to Portsmouth, although that was due to my going to University to study Palaeobiology and Evolution. After three years, I then went to Bristol, where I became a world-class Palaeontologist, and got myself an MSc in Palaeobiology and a lovely girlfriend called Hannah. Since then, I've moved to Portsmouth again, where I do several things, most of them voluntary.

If you want to see evidence of my Palaeontology career, see HERE, HERE and HERE, the last being my own personal project. I've also written for Rockwatch magazine.

As well as Palaeontology, I love Doctor Who, which is a bit sad but at least I'm not Stinking Filthy Trekkie Scum™! How sad? If someone said "Talk to Eldrad 'cos Xoanon ain't listening" I'd find it funny*. even Doctor Who Magazine called me sad! although, to be fair, I've never been to a convention (cos they cost money) and I've only dressed up for fancy dress nights. I have been given a jelly baby by Tom Baker though. Nice man. Could be worse, could be Stargate Atlantis or Mutant X!

*Do you see! Edrad was "The HAND of Evil" and Xoanon was "The FACE of Evil", so it's "Talk to the Hand (of Evil) 'cos the Face (of Evil) ain't listening". That's why it's funny!!!
