Rakish Valley

You enter a very large valley. A creature the size of a horse spots you and tosses it's head. it snorts and trots over to you but stops a short distance away. It glares at you with fearless eyes that chill your bones. Just when your about to turn and run away, it's eyes soften and it speaks.

"Greetings. I am Hotamin'Kroog, a Rakish stallion. My name means Saturn Wind. You may call me Saturn if you please though I do think your capable of pronoucing my full name." The stallion snorts and shakes his proud head. You can't happen to notice his long antlers which he seems so proud of. "You are one of the few that have found my home. I suppose your wondering what a Rakish is? Ah, a Rakish is a mix between a ram, horse, deer, and a gazelle. I came from Willow Fields. I am quite proud to say that my gift is that of Fire." Hotamin holds his head even higher. "I have my own tribe now. It's the Tribe of the Spirit Dancers." You ask him is he likes any females yet and he glares at you. He then sighs. "Excuse me, but I tend to get angered quite easily. There are a few..." He stares off into space and then quickly changes the subject. "Oh! I'm surprised Tezicha'Enmu hasn't popped up!" A look of puzzlement and curiosity sweeps over your face and the bold stallion chuckles.

"Tezicha'Enmu was the little filly who resides with me. She's now an adult! She grew up so fast.. It really was a joy to watch her grow.. Anyways. She isn't shy at all so that's why I'm so surprised!" Hotamin is interrupted when a flash of green swiftly crosses the earth and dashes around you in circles. The large creature is so fast and swift that the swirling green makes you dizzy. Finally, Hotamin notices your face and whistles shrilly. The critter stops instantly and looks at you, eye to eye. It's another rakish! The mare is green with antlers, unlike those of Hotamin's. Her rump is patched with white, like an Appaloosa horse. The two rakishi stand by eatchother, the mare looking you up and down with a silly grin."Hello! My name's Tezicha'Enmu! It means Forest Haze. My friends call me Tezi though. Or Tez. Oh! I was exploring when I saw you. I've explored most of our valley many times, but it's still fun. I know my way around by heart, like the back of my hoof. Well, I just discovered a new patch of edible berries and I don't want to keep them waiting. See ya!" The energetic mare bucks happily and dashes off towards the horizon. Hotamin grins and turns back to you. "Well, there isn't much left to say. Come again." He nods and then whirls around. Taking off at top speed, he thunders away from you and out of distance. You smile at the stern stallion and his gracefullness.Before you leave, you look around. In the far off left is a small pond that has a gurgling spring nearby. Also on a stump, there is a scroll that reads the genetics of Hotamin and .

The small valley continues and gradually turns into a wide plains. Birds chirp once in awhile and you can hear the faint chittering of woods creatures. Seeing nothing else, you leave the quiet place behind.

You can either follow the trail that leads into the wide plains or mabey you'd want to enter the forest. If you go back the way you came, you might end up near the sea or beach.
