The big blue vortex came open with a big "whoosh" sound. Four figures came flying out landing in a pile there in the middle of the park. Luckily, it was late and no one was around.
Quinn Mallory who landed on the top of the pile quickly got off. Rembrant Brown who was next stood up. Quinn looked down to the see that unfortuantly, the smallest person in the group, was stuck on the bottom. He quickly pulled Wade Wells out from under The Professor. Rembrant helped The Professor stand up.
Wade tried to speak, but couldn't. She grabbed Quinn's arm, and tried to motion to him she couldn't breathe. "Whats wrong??" Quinn asked in concern. Rembrant and The Professor walked over.
"Ah, she's a bit winded Mr. Mallory." The Professor said. He gently slapped her on the back a few times. She gasped for breath. "Thanks" she said hoarsly.
"Are you ok?" Quinn asked as he listened to her labored breathing.
"Yes, I'll be fine in a min" Wade told him.
Quinn just nodded, but contiuned to hold her up, afraid
she would fall. He thought he was being way to protective. He felt her pull away, to stand on her own. He stood right beside her, incase she needed him again.
"How long we here?" asked Rembrant.
Aurtro opened the timer, "3 days and a few hours Mr. Brown"
"Let's get to the Dominion, I need some rest" said Rembrant.
"Good idea, Mr. Brown" said The Proffessor. He followed Rembrant to the hotel, with Wade and Quinn close behind.
The Professor walked up to the desk clerk. "We require 2 rooms."
Quinn walked over, "We need only one room, with three beds if possible". The Professor looked at him, puzzeled.
"Save a little money" Quinn smiled. The Professor smiled back. "Of course, my boy." The Professor paid for the room.
They headed up to the room. Rembrant and Arturo sat down on their beds. Wade sat on the couch, she still seemed to be having breathing problems.
"Are you sure you are ok?" Quinn asked sitting next to her.
"Yes Quinn, I am fine!" she smiled. She liked his protectivness, sometimes. Othertimes, It was very annoying. She turned on the tv and flipped through the channels. "There's nothing good on TV, I'm going for a walk." She started putting her jacket on.
"Its getting kind of dark, I'll come with you" said Quinn.
"No Quinn. I'll be alright. I just want to be alone for a bit" Wade tried to explain to him.
Quinn just gave her a look of dispair. "Alright, be careful".
She walked out the door, glad to get away for a bit. She loved Quinn alot, but she could take care of herself. She walked out of the hotel and headed toward the path she walked on every world. It was the same path. She knew it by heart.
Back in the room, Quinn layed down on the bed. Rembrant and Arturo had already fallen asleep. Everyone was exhausted. It had been a rough couple of days back on War World. They hadn't slept in almost a week. Quinn wondered where Wade got the strength to go for a walk. He drifted off a few minutes after closing his eyes.
Wade sat on a park bench. It was a little after dusk. The air had a slight chill in it. She didn't see anyone around. She heard a twig snap behind her. She flung around. "Hello? Anyone there?" she called out.
"Damnit! Why am I scared. I am not Quinn's little baby, I can take care of myself!" she scolded herself. She sat back down. "No one is even around. Everyone is at home" she thought to herself. "Home! Oh, I miss home. But sliding is alot of adventure, which I would have never had if I didn't agree to come." She was so deep in thought, she didn't hear the man come up behind her.
"Wade" said a horse voice, that sounded vagualy familar. She flung around. "Who are you?" she asked. She saw a tall figure. Dressed all in black. Face was covered in darkness. She couldn't make out the features. So mezmorized by this figure, she let her guard down. She wasn't able to move fast enough when he took out some kind of gun, and shot her.
The man shot her with a tranqualizer gun. "Ouch! What are you do...." she said, getting weaker. Then she dropped to the ground. The man looked around, didn't see anyone. Put her in a blanket, and flung her over his shoulder. He walked off into the night.
Quinn, Rembrant and Arturo had been asleep for a few hours. Rembrant was the first to wake up. He looked at the clock, "Damn only 11" he thought it would be much later. He looked around the room. He saw Arturo asleep, Quinn laying on the other bed, asleep. "Where is that girl?" he asked himself. He peared over the couch, she wasn't there. He got up and knocked on the bathroom door. No responce. He opened it. Noone inside. He walked over to the sleeping figure of Quinn.
"Qball, wake up". Rembrant shook Quinn a little. Quinn opened his eyes, groggily. "Remmy.. What time is it?"
"Its 11pm. Qball, where is Wade?" Rembrant asked, Quinn could hear the concern in his voice. Quinn's eyes popped open, he scanned the room. "She went for a walk, I must have dozed off. Didn't she come back?" Quinn started sitting up.
"I don't see her anywere in the room" explained Rembrant pointing around.
Quinn turned on the light. "Wade?" he called out into the room. No answer.
The Professor rolled over. "Whats wrong, Mr. Mallory?"
"Wade never returned from her walk, she left at 6" Quinn said worried.
"Well, dont panic Mr. Mallory. We will go look for her." Arturo sat up in bed. "Leave a note here, incase she comes back".
Quinn wrote a note on a small piece of paper, and put it on the pillow of the bed. Rembrant, Arturo, and Quinn grabbed their coats, and headed out of the hotel.
"Where did she say she was going?" asked Rembrant.
"Just for a walk, probably in the park. Where she always goes." shrugged Quinn.
"Mr. Brown and Mr. Mallory either of you have a flashlight?" asked Arturo.
Rembrant shook his head. Quinn grabbed into one of his pockets, and pulled out a small flashlight. "It's not much. But it will do."
The trio headed into the park. They shined the light all around the path. They saw a park bench, and sat down for a little break. When they sat down, Quinn noticed something shiny hanging off the side of the bench. He picked it up. "Guys, look. It's Wade's key necklace!!!" He knew it right away, He had given it to her on Valentine's Day, on some world. It was the only thing he could afford. It was "the key to his heart".
"She never takes this thing off. Something bad must have happened" said Quinn to Rembrant and Arturo.
Wade woke up with the most pounding headache she had ever had. She opened her eyes, expecting to see the hotel room. She was in a very strange room. She looked around for that horrible man who shot her, with something. She didn't see him.
She ran over to the door. "Damn!" she screamed, louder than she wanted to. The door was locked.
Quinn took the flashlight from The Professor. He shined it all around the park bench. He found a small syringe. "Guys look at this" He picked up the syringe, and handed it to the professor.
"Indeed Mr. Mallory. From the looks of this liquid, I am guessing it's a tranqualizer of sorts". Said Arturo examing the syringe.
"The pieces just don't fit." exclaimed Quinn. He was extremelly mad.
Wade tugged at the door a little more. "Hopeless" she thought. She sat back down on the bed. She started preparing for the worst. How would Quinn, Remmy, and The Professor know where she is. If she didn't even know!
The door knob turned. Wade gulped. The door opened, very slowly. And the man from last night, walked in. She look at him, open mouthed. He looked at her. She looked into the familar blue eyes she has looked into a thousand times before. "Quinn??" she asked, totally confused. She knew it wasn't her Quinn. But why would the Quinn of this world kidnap her?
"The one and only. Well, of this world. Wade, I have missed you so much. I will never let you go again" Quinn grabbed her hand.
"I'm not YOUR Wade." Wade screamed at him.
"Yes, I know that. My Wade died in a terrible accident. When I was away, sliding. She was killed by a madman in the park. At that very same bench I found you. I go there everyday to think of her. I saw you, I couldn't let you go" Quinn said in a very sad voice. Wade almost felt bad for him.
"I am sorry to hear about your loss. But I am not her, I can't replace her. It's not right of you to drag me here against my will" Wade was very impatient with this guy. She thought he had some nerve!!
"I know, I was wrong. But, you wouldn't have stayed if I would have asked. You will stay here till your friends slide." Quinn said firmly.
"No I won't! I don't want to be locked in here!" Wade started screaming!! Wishing she had let Quinn come along on her walk.
"Calm down. I will provide you with everything you need." said her captor Quinn.
She just looked away from him, he left the room.
Rembrant, Arturo, and Quinn decided to return to the hotel room. "We must get our rest if we wish to find Miss Wells." said Arturo.
"Yeah Quinn. We won't be able to find her if we are tired" Rembrant said as he patted Quinn on the back.
Quinn smiled at them, weakly. He was still clucthing the chain. The syringe sat on the nightstand by his bed. Quinn couldn't sleep a wink. He kept thinking about the possiblities of what happened. Maybe the chain being there was just a coincidence, and the syringe had nothing to do with Wade. He fell into a restless sleep, hounded by nightmares.
Wade layed on the very big comfortable bed, she couldn't sleep. She looked at the clock, "2am" she said out loud. She figured that Quinn had to be asleep, and that she needed to try to make an escape now. The main door out of the bedroom was useless. She went over to the window, It wouldnt open. Quinn had nailed it shut. She tried to break it with her fists. "Damn window is plastic, he must have thought of everything". She looked around for a phone. "Bingo!" She picked up the recivor, it was dead. Quinn had cut the phone wire. There was not one thing Quinn didn't think of. He blocked her every chance to escape.
The next moring bright and early, Quinn brought her breakfast. Bacon, eggs, and toast. She had to admit, that was the best food she had been offered in a long time. She was frightened at the intesity that Quinn looked at her with.
Quinn woke up, covered in sweat from the nightmares he had. Rembrant and Arturo looked over to him.
"It will be ok Qball, we'll find her. We still have two days left" said Rembrant trying to assure Quinn. Quinn just nodded in Rembrants direction and headed to the bathroom.
"Mr. Brown, that boy looks like he's been through hell and back" said Arturo.
"I'll agree to that" said Rembrant nodding.
Quinn came out of the bathroom after he'd showered, he looked a little better. The look of intense anger was etched into his face.
Rembrant and Arturo looked at each other with concern. They didn't know who to be more worried about, Quinn or Wade.
They followed Quinn's lead to the park bench. Now that it was daylight they would be able to search easier for clues. Quinn looked all around the bench. He didn't find anything new.
"Quinn, What if we go talk to the Wade Wells of this world. Maybe she knows why this would happen" said Rembrant.
"It's a long shot, Mr. Brown. But worth the risk" said Arturo, he knew how much Quinn is hurting.
The three men solomly headed toward the house of Wade Wells. Hopeing two things. First, that she might be able to tell them what happened to their Wade, and second that she didn't freak when they told her they were Sliders.
The three men decided Quinn would make the best choice to go to the door. Quinn knocked and waited. Wade's cousin, that Quinn had met once before they slide, came to the door. Amanda Wells, opened with a strange expression on her face.
"Quinn what are you doing here?" asked Amanda.
"I need to speak with Wade" Quinn said, hoping his double and Wade's double weren't bitter enemies.
Amanda's expression changed quickly. "What are you playing some kind of sick joke? You know Wade was murdered in the park when you were away. When you LEFT her here ALONE, to go off sliding!" she yelled at him and slammed the door in his face. Quinn turned back to his companions, with a very pale face. "Murdered in the park? You don't suppose.."
"Now now Mr. Mallory don't jump to those kind of conclusions" said Arturo.
"I think the only one who can help us, would be my double" said Quinn.
"It's worth a try." said Arturo. Quinn noticed how The Professor was acting. He was now acting reasonable about interacting with doubles. Quinn guessed he just felt bad about losing Wade too.
They walked over to Quinn's house. They all three went to the door this time.
"Wade, I know you don't want to stay with me. But, I am sure in time you will learn to love me. Just as you love your Quinn" said the captor Quinn to his prisoner.
"You can't make anyone love you" said Wade, refusing to look her captor in the eyes.
The sound of the doorbell made her jump. Quinn went over to the window in Wade's room. He saw what he had been expecting, his double. "Mom's here, I'll be back in a little while". Quin walked out the door, and locked it.
Wade layed back on the bed. She was exhausted, and worried. Tommorow they were supposed to slide out of here.
The Quinn of this world, opened his door to see his double. He tried to act surprise.
"I can explain.." said Quinn. It was one of his most famous lines.
"No need to. I have slid before." said the local Quinn.
"We need to talk to you, its very important" said Quinn.
"Come on in, have a seat" said the local Quinn.
Rembrant, The Professor and Rembrant took a seat in the local Quinn's living room. They saw a picture frame of the local Quinn and his Wade. And they noticed a very big photograph of her hang on the wall.
Quinn noticed all the pictures, and he realized how much he missed his Wade. "We need to speak to you about Wade Wells."
The local Quinn's face saddened. "What do you need to know"
"We were traveling with the Wade Wells from our world. She went out for a walk in the park yesterday evening about 6pm, she never returned to our hotel. Do you know of someone who might want to cause her harm?" Quinn asked, he noticed his double getting a little nervous.
"Well, The Wade Wells of this world unfortuanly was killed. I mourn her death everday. She was the biggest loss I have ever suffered. About a year ago, when I finalized the sliding machine, I was gone for about six months. Wade stayed behind, because her cousin Amanda was ill. One night, in the park, Wade was sitting on the bench listening to her walkman, she was shot. The killer was never captured. I came back to this devestating news, Amanda has never forgiven me for leaving." said Quinn, sadly.
"We need to find her, before tommorow night. We have to slide then" said Rembrant.
The local Quinn just nodded. Everyone noticed he seemed to be hiding something.
"We are staying at The Dominion Hotel, If you can help us we would really appriciate it." said Quinn.
"I will" said the local Quinn, very unconvicing.
Rembrant, Arutro and Quinn got up to leave. They noticed Quinn's double keep looking upstairs. They didn't think too much about it. They heard a few thuds.
The local Quinn laughs. "That silly cat Schrodeger."
Quinn just nodded in conformaton. They three walked out the door. The local Quinn watched them through the glass door.
Wade was watching out the window. She was sure she had heard two Quinns downstairs. Or her captor was talking to himself. Finnaly luck. She saw her fellow sliders walking down the sidewalk. She pounded on the window. They stopped.
"Come on guys, look up here" she said quietly. They looked around, but contiuned walked. She slamed on the plastic window again, screaming. They heard some small thuds. But the window was sound proof.
They stopped again. "What is that noise?" asked Rembrant.
"What does it matter Mr. Brown. We are looking for Miss Wells" said Arturo.
The group contiuned on out of site. Wade was devestated. The door to the room, swung open fircely.
"What the hell were you doing?" the captor Quinn grabbed Wade's arm and pulled her away from the window. "They will be back. Don't try it again. Or you will be put in a smaller room, without a window, without a bed." yelled Quinn as he left the room.
"Geez, what was up his butt?" asked Wade to herself.
Quinn turned to his group when they got a little farther from the house. "Guys, did you notice my double acting weird?"
"Yes indeed Mr. Mallory" said Arturo.
"And a cat does not make that kind of thud" said Rembrant. "Unless it was about 100lbs"
"Wait, Rembrant. Maybe the cat was 100lbs!" yelled Quinn.
"What do you mean Mr. Mallory" asked The Professor totally confused.
"He said he was totaly devestated when he found out his Wade had been murdered. Maybe he took mine!!!" yelled Quinn excited with hope.
"Qball, you are going nuts" said Rembrant.
"You guys go back to the hotel, I'll meet you there" said Quinn running back to his double's house.
The first thing he did was look up at the window. Whatever is in that room, was pounding on the window.
Quinn knocked on the door, his double seemed very surprised to see him again, especially so soon.
"Hello again, Quinn" said the local Quinn.
"I can't go on" said Quinn sadly. "I can't live without her"
The local Quinn started getting nervous.
THUD
"The cat again?" asked Quinn.
"Yes, he is in a very active mood." said the local Quinn. "Have a seat while I go check on him"
Quinn sat down on his double's couch.
Wade saw the door swing open again. "Uh-oh" said thought. "You dumb girl!!! Quinn is downstairs." He smacked her. She flew backwards onto the bed. The captor Quinn looked ashamed. "I am so sorry..." he trailed off. He walked out the door again.
Quinn saw his double coming back downstairs, looking red faced.
"Whats wrong?" asked Quinn cautiously.
The local Quinn seemed dazed. "oh my, nothing at all. I was just thinking about how much Schrodeger liked Wade".
"Yes, Mine was a cat lover as well" said Quinn. "I can't go on without her! I need her!"
THUD
"He's an active little bugger today" said the local Quinn looking up at the celing.
THUD THUD THUD BAM THUD
"I'll say" said Quinn. "Could I see him? I miss him"
The local Quinn looked at him nervously. "Well, mother is alseep upstairs. I don't think we should wake her"
Quinn smiled deep inside, caught his double redhanded. He knew on this world his mother had died. He had seen the tombstone. "Oh, alright"
The loudest thud of the evening startled them both.
"Must have knocked over something" said the local Quinn extemelly nervous. "Could you come back later, now isn't a good time"
"Sure" said Quinn. He went over for the door as his double ran upstairs. "I know your up there Wade, and I'll save you!"
Quinn walked over to the out side of the house, looked up at the window.
Wade was losing hope. How many times does she have to knock over stuff. She looked out the window. Quinn was looking right at her. She pounded. Quinn waved. She pounded harder. Quinn gave her an "It'll be ok" sign and trotted off.
The door whooshed open again. Quinn had a syringe in his hand. He grabbed Wade. "You my dear, are going to sleep for a while". He stabbed her with the syringe, and threw her on the bed. He noticed the bruise on her face.
Quinn ran into the hotel room. "She's at his house. Locked in the bedroom upstairs. We gotta make a plan to get her out. He's getting very mad, I am afraid he might go off on her." stammered Quinn, while the others tried their best to catch it all.
The captor Quinn watched Wade fall into the chemically induced sleep. "That outta take care of you till your friends slide" Quinn said to her sleeping body.
Quinn, Rembrant, and Arturo were thinking of a plan. "If we could on distract him, get him away from the house, or to the basement" said Quinn as the others nodded.
Proffessor Arturo's face lit up. "Tommorow my boy, me and Mr. Brown will ask your double about his sliding machine. Hopefully, he will take us down to the basement. We will tell him you are at the hotel, upset over your loss. When we go down to the basement, you my boy will sneak in and find your loved one!" Arutro put a hand in the air in triumph.
"Very good Professor" smiled Rembrant. Quinn just nodded. He liked the idea alot. "We slide tommorow at 3. So we need to be over Quinn's around 2. I dont want any chance of him getting her back before we slide." Arutor and Rembrant nodded.
The three men went to sleep, for tommorow was going to be a very eventful day!
The captor Quinn sat on his couch. He was very nervous. He wasn't sure if Quinn would come back or not. He didn't know he saw Wade through the window. He figured with the amount of tranqualizer he had given her, she would be out till tommorow evening. He went upstairs and checked in on her one last time before going to bed.
The next afternoon, Quinn, Rembrant, and The Proffessor check out of the hotel. Quinn held tightly to the chain. They walked over to The Mallory house.
Quinn hid in some bushes nearby. Rembrant would come over to the glass door once they were headed to the basement.
Rembrant and Arturo knocked on the door. The local Quinn Mallory answered it, let them in and looked around outside, He didn't notice Quinn in the bushes.
"Mr. Mallory. We need to inquire you about your sliding machine." said The Professor. "We need to see it, if possible"
"Where is Quinn?" asked the local Quinn.
"He's back at the hotel, he has lost hope of seeing Wade again. The boy is taking it pretty hard" said Rembrant.
"Oh, well sure you can see it. It's down in the basement" Quinn turned to lead the two men into his basement. Rembrant walked over to the door, gave the OK sign and walked way.
Quinn slowed crept up to the porch. He quietly opened the door. He heard the voices from the basement. "Thank you so much guys" he said under his breath.
He slowly crept upstairs. He looked around. All the doors were open, except for one. "Bingo" Quinn said, crossing his fingers. He turned the knob, "Damn locked!" He looked around for the keys.
"Mr. Mallory, can you explain one more time why we can't use your machine to get us home?" asked Arturo.
The local Quinn sighed, and began the lengthy explinaton one more time.
Quinn went into his double's bedroom. There on the dresser was a single silver key. "Oh please let this be it."
Quinn went back to the locked door, and put the key in. He turned the key "Click" it unlocked. He slowly opened the door.
His eyes almost filled with tears. There was his beloved. She seemed alomst dead. And she had a bruise on her cheeck. "Wade, wake up" whispered Quinn. Then he noticed an empty syringe laying on the nightstand. "Damn, he must have sedated you again."
He scooped her up in his arms, he was so happy to be able to feel her again. He carried her downstairs and to the outside of the house.
Rembrant and Arturo, and the local Quinn heard the door open. The local Quinn ran upstairs. He saw his double with Wade in his arms, walking away from the house. He ran after them.
Rembrant and Arturo followed in pursuit. Quinn ran into the park, and gently laid Wade down on the park bench, where this whole ordeal started. He stood over her as his double approched them.
Quinn spun around. "What you did, was wrong. I know you know that Quinn."
The local Quinn looked down. "I would take good care of her. She could finnally rest and stop sliding on the endless rollercoaster ride you have taken her for"
The other Quinn looked back at her, she was still out. "Well Quinn. I'll take care of her. You just can't take her out of my life because you think she belongs in yours."
Quinn's double looked extremlly saddened and angry. Rembrant and Arturo finnal caught up. "I belive we must depart" said Arturo.
He opened up the timer, aimed it and fired. The blue whirling vortex opened up. Rembrant and Arturo jumped through. Quinn picked up the very unconciouse Wade. Quinn looked to his double one last time. "Goodbye Wade. I hope to see you again" said the local Quinn. With that Quinn jumped into the vortex still holding onto her. After he saw them gone, "I will see you again, very very soon my dear." Local Quinn said to himself.
The blue vortex opened suddenly in the park. Rembrant and Arturo landed, and quickly got up to make room for Quinn and his precious cargo. Quinn flew out of the vortex, holding Wade close, landing in a soft patch of grass.
"She ok Qball?" asked Rembrant.
"Yeah, he tranqualized her again. Must have been some strong stuff. I wonder what happened to her face, she's got a big bruise on her cheeck" said Quinn looking down on her face.
"Well, we better get her to the hotel" said Arturo. Rembrant and Quinn followed him.
"We require one room, with three beds" said Arturo, he pulled out the money to pay the hotel clerk. He filled out the form he was givin.
"Ok, Mr. Arturo, Mr. Mallory, Mr. Brown, and Miss. Wells. You are in room 42. Have a nice stay." said the cheery hotel clerk.
"But I did not pay for the room" said Arturo puzzled.
"Oh, You must be from overseas. Here in the United States we have abolished money. Goods and services are free of charge. You take what you need." said the girl as she filed the form Arturo has just filled out.
The sliders looked at each other, This must be paradise!!
They headed up to the room, Quinn layed Wade on one of the beds. "Man, I'm starving. I say we go see what kind of gourmet foods this paradise has to offer" said Rembrant.
"I agree with you there, Mr. Brown" said Arturo. "You coming Mr. Mallory?"
"No, I'll stay here in case she wakes up" said Quinn.
"We'll bring you both back something" said Rembrant. Him and Arturo left the hotel room.
A little while later, Wade started waking up. She had the same pounding headache as from before. She sat up in bed. Quinn who was over on the other bed, noticed her awake. He jumped over to her bed.
"Quinn, I'll cooperate. Just don't give me any more of that stuff". She said still having her eyes closed.
"Wade, open your eyes" said Quinn.
She opened her eyes, and looked around. She wasn't in that room anymore. And this was her Quinn! She gave him a huge hug! And a great big kiss. "Quinn!!!! I thought I would never see you again".
"Well, we got you out of there. I wouldn't have slid with out you" Quinn said holding her.
"I slid?? I don't even remember sliding" said Wade
"You were out cold. He must have given you some good stuff" said Quinn.
"Yah, it was some kind of very strong tranqualizer, he made it himself" Wade said with a sigh.
They pulled together and started to kiss. "I thought I lost you forever" said Quinn. He handed Wade back her necklace. "Here this was on the bench in the park"
"Thanks. I didn't even know I lost it" she put it back around her neck.
The moment was intteruped by the hotel door opening. Rembrant and Arturo came in holding a brown bag.
"Hey sweetheart, nice to see you awake" said Rembrant. He gave her a little hug.
"Yes, Miss Wells. Mr. Mallory was quite worried" said Arutor. "We brought you some food"
"You wouldn't belive this place Qball. Everything is free!! You just take what you need." said Rembrant. "And we are here for 2 weeks!" He looked at the timer. "Vacation time"
Everyone cheered, especially Wade. After what she had been through she needed a break.
Quinn looked back over at Wade. "Oh by the way, what happened to your face?"
Wade felt her cheek, it was sore. She looked in the mirror and saw the bruise. "Oh. When you guys were there, and I was making those Thuds. Quinn got a little upset, and smacked me accross the face."
"I am so sorry my double did this to you" said Quinn touching her face with the back of his hand. He had a habit of feeling responsible for his double.
"It's ok. It was your double, it wasn't you. Don't worry about it" said Wade grabbing his hand and giving a comforting squeeze. "I am starving."
Rembrant handed the bag to her. "Here ya go sweetheart. This world is definatly a paradise!"
Wade opened the bag. Inside was a few hamburgers and some fries. "Yum! I havent had fast food in ages, where did you guys get the extra money?"
"Miss Wells, this world abolished money. You simply take whatever you need" said Arturo. He watched Wade's eyes light up. "We are here for a much needed two week vacation".
Wade smiled. "It's about time!" She knew the past few months have been hard on the group. Causing alot of arguments. Maybe this paradise world will help everyone get along better, for a while anyways. Her and Quinn ate their dinner in silence.
