...and as so many X-Files before, no one really knows what happened when the sun came up.
My Review: Well, the episode
started out pretty good. The clip scenes with the Cops music was great,
making me, the viewer, pretty excited about watching the episode. The
teaser was also very good--lots of high-drama to present an unknown monster we
know Mulder and Scully will be investigating on an x-file. The episode
does show a very nice adaptation to Cops--all of the Jerry Springer
people we run into, the cameras, lighting, etc etc. However, (yes,
that word is emphasized on purpose.) the story turned out to be pretty weak, and
I was getting a headache after about 45 mins of camera shaking and watching
M&S's backs. I didn't know any spoilers about this episode except
looking at a couple of pictures, and I predicted Mulder's theory before he
did. I thought maybe the storyline would turn interesting by M or S having
to fight off their biggest fears, but we didn't get so lucky. While this
was a good idea to merge Cops and the X-Files in theory, it didn't turn out as
great as I thought it could be. I won't be watching this one again for a
while...I might need to borrow some of Mulder's dramamine if I did.
