Now that I have *finally* been able to get my scanner to work, I can show everyone my art. Most of these I did while I was in college, but a few of them are far more recent. Most of my drawings have been either inspired by music, or by the characters in my stories. If you are interested in using my artwork for any reason, please contact me. I won't charge a fee, I would just like to know how it is being used and be able to see the finished product! And, I'll even put a link on my page back to your's! |

This is a picture that I created for my best friend in high school for a story that she was writing. She gave me a detailed description of what her character, Kyle, looked like. Well, I tried very hard to stay with the description, but then, I just decided to draw, and this is what came out! |

This drawing, Dawn, was created during my Christian days. I drew it in one night while I was performing in the Glory of Easter at the Crystal Cathedral. I had a pretty good amount of time inbetween acts, which allowed me to draw this simple picture. |

This is a character from one of my stories, Tiran. I have always been interested in drawing comic-book style drawings, but I can never seem to be able to draw the same character over and over exactly the same, so I gave up. However, that didn't stop me from drawing this picture in about 30 minutes. |

This drawing was one of a personal challenge for me. Having never drawn anything coming towards myself, I found this to be rather difficult, especially when it came to the wings. The resource I used to get the wings correct was the raven from the NBC tv movie of Alice in Wonderland done back in 86. (I think...) |

During my college years, I had a job that gave me ample free-time. So, being by myself, just sitting and waiting for the phone to ring, I tried very hard to entertain myself. Along with October and the following frames, "Swan Song" is perhaps one of my favorites. |

The "Sorcerer's Apprentice" was supposed to be the cover to a book that a friend of mine was working on, but it was a real challenge for me to get inspired to do, and so I never got it finished till several years later. Unfortuneately, I'm about as good at dragons as I am at comic-book characters. |

Desert Rose is a tattoo that I designed for a guy that I was dating. He had it put onto his forearm and it looked positively lovely! |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
October was inspired by an Enya song. I only wish I knew which one. I simply know it is from the "Watermark" CD. I remember finding that particular CD very inspirational for many creative things I did that year.... |

Lyin' Among the Daffodills was drawn for a great friend of mine, Jay Easton. It actually made a small circulation in the cubies of the office I was working in when I drew it. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
These three frames were actually drawn to be used for envelopes. (The Fairy one was originally drawn directly on one.) My boyfriend, at the time I drew these, was planning on going away for classes, so I drew these up specially for letters to him while he was gone. |

So Mote it Be was just a quick little sketch I did while on my 15 minute break one day. I liked it so much, I thought I'd post it here. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Here's another drawing of Tiran. This one isn't quite as comicy but it was done many years later than the first one. I still haven't decided which one is my favorite yet. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Winchester is perhaps one of my favorite characters in my story currently titled, "Shellia". Quite and shy, he is the model "gentleman", but deep within is a very strong and loyal person. This is from a scene in my story where he is trying to protect Shellia. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Here is Palamino, one of my Champion characters. She didn't get a whole lot of play, but she was a great Brick and a fun character to use when I was in a rather destructive frame of mind. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
And that's about it. Of course, this spans *many* of my art years, not to mention the few that were just too big to fit on my scanner. I stopped drawing back a few years ago, simply from lack of time. I try to pick it up every now and again, start a sketch, put it down, come back to it a few weeks later. Who knows! I might have more to contribute later! |
