You stare around the vast darkness that has become your surroundings.  Bright flashes of lightning crack and burst in rapid streaks, some seeming to pass right through you.  Soon the bright lightning and the contant bursts of thunder confuse your sense and you don't know how you go to this strange realm of blackness and lightning.  You walk on what seems to be open air with no ground that you can see below you.  The confusion builds higher and you stop moving, trying to decide what to do with yourself.  A strange figure in the distance lights up at every lightning burst and you can tell that it is indeed not human at all.  You squint, trying to gather more details of the figure as each lightning bolt strikes.  The figure moves towards you and you can soon make out the figure to be a white unicorn anthro with a golden mane and a blue dress.  A blue pendant swings from her neck as she walks and she holds a pencil in a hand.

She smiles cheerfully at you, waving her free hand. Look what the portal dragged in!  You look like you've been thrown into a tornado! She grins at your disorientation from the lightning. Aye, it is a bit much isn't it?  Useful though in some ways.  Conjures up some of the most interesting portals.  That's how I discover all of my new agencies and the like.  Perhaps you'd like to jump into the explored portals?  Those stay open all the time thanks to my experimentation.  Just pick one and jump in.  They'll have a sign on 'em telling ya where it's taking you.  Have fun but remember, don't feed the dragons! She grins mischieviously at the last statement and you eye her cautiously.  The portals flash open and shut in front of you.  After a moment's hesitation, you pick where you'd like to go.
