Rogue Calendar

This began with a thread in Alt.Fan.Wedge and quickly became a group project to determine dates on which to celebrate the birthdays of each of the Rogues and Wraiths. (You can read the original thread here, plus a good-sized fragment of it here.) It's still very much a work in progress, but here's what we have so far.

February 17 (or December 24): Wedge Day
Feb 17 is nine months after Tycho's birthday by the Imperial calendar; Dec 24 is nine months after by Earth reckoning. It was stated in Rogue Squadron that Tycho is nine months older than Wedge, so we counted backwards.
March 6: Corran Day
Kelly, webmistress of the Corran Horn Page, suggested this date as one connected with the creation of that website.
March 24: Tycho Day
According to the novels and comics, Tycho's homeworld, Alderaan, was destroyed on his 21st birthday. So we went looking for the date of Alderaan's destruction and found it to be on the SW equivalent of March 24.
April 1: Wes Day
April Fools' Day. What could be more appropriate for our Janson?
April 25: Fallen Rogues Day
May 4: Gavin Day
Because May is Spring, and Spring is sweet, and Gavin is a sweetie.
June 18: Plourr Day
The birthday of the Russian Princess Anastasia, whom rumor would make the only survivor of the royal family, a real-world parallel to the story of Isplourrdacartha Estillo, Warrior Princess.
July 4: Endor Day
Well, it's the American Independence Day. I think this day may be revised to something more global...
August 28: Feast Day of the True Animist Warrior God, also known as the original Wedge Day, or Deification Day
The day on which the truth of the TAWG was revealed to Prophet Kristy, now celebrated as the annual Feast Day, with lesser monthly Feast Days on the 28th of each month.
October 31: Wraith Day
Hallowe'en seems fitting for the Wraiths...
November 1: Hobbie Day
The Day of the Dead, which Hobbie is always coming close to being. Good thing there's plenty of bacta...
