When I saw this book on the shelf at the store, it basically leapt out at me; I'm very glad it did, too. X-Treme Possibilities is probably the best episode guide to the X-Files I have ever read (Note: I have not read all of them, but so far this is the best). Each episode description contained several parts, each quite astute. It is a book that contains what fans are interested in, not merely a set of little facts we couldn't care less about. My favorite element would have to be the fact boxes, especially the one asking why we still trust Mulder after all that's been done to him, followed closely by the "Phwoar!" section and the quotes. That doesn't mean the other sections are bad. Indeed, they are all very good. The long and the short of it is, this is a wonderful book which everyone who likes the X-Files should read.
