The Desert


As the link clears you look at you’re surroundings. All around you is sand. The sun is hot overhead, you think that you will fry soon if you don’t find some shade soon.You think you see the tips of palm trees in the distance, it could be and oasis or it might be a mirage. You have only been standing in the sun for a few minutes but you are starting to bake, the air around you is as hot as an oven. If you are wrong about the oasis you could wander off into the desert never to be seen again. On the other hand, if you are right you could get into the shade of the palm trees and out of the sun.It is a tough decision. What will you do?

Before you have a chance to decide. You hear the hound of hard hooves hitting soft sand. You turn around and see strange dragonish, horselike creature.

"Hello Web Wanderer", it says,"You are standing in the Desert. This is the home of the Drigus and many other creatures.My name is Tim'Karan, I am a drigus! Considering the weird looks your ginving me I suppose you have no idea what a drigus is? Well I will tell you. We are a mix of horse, dragon and tiger witha little bit extra thrown in! Some of us live around here! If you want I can take you to the Skyfire oasis. It's where I live!".

"Um", that would be nice," you say. "What's over there? I though I saw an oasis that way, is that your home?"

"No",he replies,"That is the Sundance oasis. You can go there if you want, but you'll have to find it yourself.So are you coming?"
