Before you get very far another figure comes swooping out of
the trees. As it lands you get a better look. It seems to be a 'dyryso, but it has
wings! You stand stunned for a moment, blinking. Guide just smiles, shaking his head
amusedly at your amazement.
The winged 'dyryso walks over to you, flipping it's wings closed. It's orange eyes
. "Greetings! I am TerraFlyer."
It looks like a 'dyryso, but it's got such long ears!
You can't help but ask a few questions. "Are you a 'dyryso? If so why are your
ears so big?"
You hear Guide snort behind you, shocked at your arrogance.
The creature looks up with a slight smile."Yes, I'm a 'dyryso, the same as
FireLover, SunChaser, EarthCharm and CloudRacer. My wings are a mutation. As for
my ears, well males have larger ears so that they can warn the rest of the denn of
danger, hearing it before it gets to us. I'm first male in the Sun Heart Denn."
You
tilt you head and ask. "Who else is in your denn?"
TerraFlyer smiles. "All those you have met, aside from FireLover. Sunchaser,
Cloudracer, and Earthcharm are all in my denn."
Two more figures rush past. Tripping over
your feet they go flying and disappear into a large group of prickly bushes. The
step out a few moments later covered in thorns.
"Aw, poor things." You kneel down and help the two with removing the thorns.
TerraFlyer introduces them, The smaller one is FlameLiver. The larger one trying
to hide behind her is GoldDenner. "
GoldDenner squeaks as FlameLiver laughs.
Terra continues,"They are members of the Sun heart denn as well."
Before you have a chance to comment you realize that a large white K'd with pale
blue wings has appeared the clearing. You're not quite sure how he got there, as
you didn't see him enter. At the moment the white male is half hidden behind Golddenner.
Flameliver finds the sight of two larger K'ds trying to hide behind her small form
rather amusing and giggles.
Terra smiles, "This is Airkeeper, the second Dennmale of the Sun Heart Den.
As you've undoubtedly noticed, he's a bit shy."
The silent K'd nods politely in your general direction but remains quiet. Evidently
he's more then a bit shy.
Then you notice a large female with extremely thick, silver colored fur
that fades to white on her stomach and paws. "Silvercaller." She says,
as if she sensed your attention on her despite her closed eyes. You nod a greeting
at the name. She doesn't appear to be inclined towards saying anything else so you
turn away.
"Come," says Terraflyer. "There are more of my kind along the path.
I'm sure they would welcome the company of a wanderer."
You glance at Guide for confirmation and the blue fox nods. With a shrug you follow
the brown, winged male as he continues
up the path to bring you to visit more of
his species.
