As you continue your walk with Guide you happen upon
an entire group of Kartyn'dyryso. Two similarly
marked members of the canine species are playing, while another oddly colored pair
look on. Soon the arrival of yourself and your guide and noted, and all four look
up to study you. The two twins (for that's what they must be) grin.
"Hey look, Pumpkinlaughter, it's a Wanderer!"
Says one twin to the other.
"Yep indeed, Orangedancer dear!" The other replies cheekily in a voice
much like her sister's.
Instantly they leap up, starting a game of chase. One of the twins (although they've
been introduced, you can't tell the difference between them) uses you to shield her
from being tagged by her sibling. You're rather uncomfortable with such a game being
started up around you. The K'd aren't very large, but they're extremely enthusiastic,
and with their current enthusiasm there's a fair chance that they might knock you
off your feet.
"I think you're scaring our visitor.." A
pleasant feminine voice comments dryly. It comes from the white doe splashed with
purple markings.
"Yes, I agree. You two do wish them to return for another visit, don't you?"
The calm voice of the white, green marked buck adds.
Both twins stop dead, looking faintly startled. "Of course we do!" Mixes
with, "Yeppers!" as the two answer at the same time.
"Then you might want to tone it down a bit.." The white doe continues with
a slight smile.
"Or at least stop using the poor Wanderer as a shield, Pumpkinlaughter.."
The white male finishes. Apparently he can tell the difference between the
two twins.
Now that the two twins have calmed down to the point of actually sitting themselves
down, the other two K'd are introduced. The white male speaks for them both, "This
is my mate Amethystlover, and I am Emeraldherald." He smiles slightly.
"And don't forget us!" Comments another
feminine voice, this one younger sounding then that of Amethystlover's. You see that
another pair of K'd have made an entrance, both white and very similar in appearance.
With a blink you wonder if you're looking at another pair of twins. In matching voices,
these two introduce themselves.
"Diamondbard." Listening closely you realize this K'd's voice has a faintly
musical lilt to it.
"Quarztstone.." The other introduces herself quietly.
Once again you chat with the four K'd for awhile. Then the orange twins start getting
hyper again, and you realize it might be best to move out....
