You leave the territory of the Burial female, Sepultura, at a brisk walk. While it didn't look as if she was about to come after you, lingering in the area didn't seem like a good idea. As you hike along beside your blue canine guide, you study the area. Eventually you realize that you're heading back up the mountain into the cold area. "You mean there's some other Raveen that lives up there in the cold?"

"Yes, Zjarmuu has territory adjacent to this area, but close to Kouude as well. They both like the cold, you see. Aside from winter in the realm, there's really no cold areas except for the top of this mountain." Guide explains.

"But unlike the ice-cube, I do come down more then occasionally." A rich masculine voice comments with amusement.

A quick scan of ground level doesn't display the owner of the voice, so you turn your gaze upward just in time to catch sight of a winged, feline figure coming in for a landing. A few flaps of the strangely lit wings, and the Raveen has come to a perfect touch down not far from where you stand.

"Zjarmuu!" With the shout of greeting, Guide approaches the dark Raveen by bouncing from rock to rock. "We were just coming to see you."

" I know." Zjarmuu answers, a bit of a smirk on his scared muzzle. "Kouude mentioned earlier that you had been by with a wanderer. I knew it was only a matter of time until you came to visit me, so I figured I'd save you the trip."

Two things come to your attention rather quickly. The first is that the wings of this Raveen male are covered in strange, blue flame. The next, slightly less spectacular, observation is that Zjarmuu seems to be lacking a tail. Secondary features, such as the 'socks' of blue fire and the silver markings of this male are noticed somewhat belatedly.

"After all," Zjarmuu continues, "These human wanderers don't seem to deal with climbing mountains very gracefully."

Guide glances a you, a bit of a smirk on his fuzzy blue features. "You do have a point.." He shakes his head, " At least no one has taken any head first trips down the mountain recently." He pauses a moment to think on that, then continues with a slight smile. " My thanks in any case, Zjarmuu. It saves my poor paws the trip."

" It's no trouble at all, my fine, fuzzy canine." Zjarmuu replies with polite, practiced ease. With that he turns to you, and sweeps a bow. Something about the gesture comes off as slightly mocking. " As you no doubt heard, my name is Zjarmuu. I'm a Blue Fire, and a Child of Orcle with the title of Semi-God. " The last is announced with pride.

You're about to ask about it, when Guide catches your eye and shakes his head the tiniest bit. Despite your confusion as to why you shouldn't inquire about such things, you decide to follow your guide's suggestion. As a guide he would have to know the temperaments and quirks of the creatures he visits. Following his advice would hopefully keep you alive and whole.

After a lengthy amount of small chat Guide decides it's time to move on. Once out of hearing range of the Blue Fire, you ask your guide what that was all about.

"Zjarmuu's nice enough, even if he does comes off as arrogant every once and awhile. You can't really expect anything else considering he's been told of his great and wonderful destiny all his life.. It's just that getting him started on the topic of the Coto is just about the worst thing you can do if you're interested in leaving before the week is out, especially now. His rant about how he's a Child of Orcle and not a Whisper of Rekura gets a bit tiring after the fiftieth time. You just have to avoid certain topics if you wish to escape having your ear talked off."

You decline to comment as you continue on.
