You enter the link to the sea. When the link clears you realise that you are underwater, and breathing! You wait for some one or something to appear and explain why you can breath. You don't wait long. A few mintues after your appearence a blue and red swims up beside you.
"Welcome to The Sea, wanderer! You are in a place where wonderful creatures abide! I suppose you are wondering why you can breath? Sirah put a spell on that link so that anyone that came through would have the ability to breath underwater untill they left this place." The creature tells you.
"Why only till we leave? Why not forever?" you ask.
"Well for one, the creature answers," It would be too hard to cast a spell like that for that long. For second, this spell will get you in big trouble if you ever visit the river. It falls apart and backfires. The Sea is saltwater the river is freshwater. They may share some of the same creatrues, but they don't mix."
"What are you anyway?", You ask the creature.
"I", it says with pride , " am a hippocamus. You'll see alot of cretures like us around here. Speaking of the creatrues of this sea, would you like to vist some?".You nod.
"Good, there are only a few places around here now that welcome visitors you are wellcome to visit them. Hopefully the rest will be ready soon.Just follow the link. When you want to go back head that way! Have fun!" The hippocamus flips a flipper in the directions you could go then swims off the other way.
