lord nightspawn is lord of the dead and Master of the house of shadows, was once Prince Night. the oldest son of odin, along with his brother labyrinth (his younger brother) they wondered the country side as hired assassin, they were hired as guardians of another realm. while guarding the realm a fierce war broke out and in the heat of battle Labyrinth came across a fierce dark evil warrior named Matt K. Johnson who was a swordsman of great skill who accused The Baron who's realm they were protecting of stealing the land from his family.  While trying to protect the barons castle Prince Johnson ordered one of his black Knights to attack Labyrinth, upon seeing this Prince Night threw himself between the Dark one, not knowing that he was a Vampire.  The Dark One bit prince night, and as several of the barons Knights along with his brother tried to free him from the grasp of the Dark one but to no avail, he was drained to the point of near death when he thrust the dark one backwards into a lance of a solder.  The Dark one screamed in pain and fled, Prince Johnson pushed his blade through Prince Nights heart to finish him and walked away thinking him dead.  Labyrinth and the Baron's Knights were victorious winning the war, and killing Prince Johnson's parents The Count and Countess.  As Prince Night lay on his deathbed, barely clinging to life, Prince Labyrinth walks in caring two Reven's val and myr with steel beaks and talons as a gift to his brother for saving his life. He whispers to the Birds "Protect my brother with your power and magic", with this the bird flew to the bedposts and perched. Labyrinth turns as the baron walked through the door, he kneeled beside his fallen friend say " I thank thee my friend for your bravery and courage, and the protection of my realm.  For that I award you the Eastern providence for your own realm my friend, please do not die" as a tear fell from his face he stand and walks out the door with Labyrinth.  That Night Prince Night had Horrible dreams of demons that drain the life's blood out of their victims, as he awoke he found himself doing just that to his handmaiden, as he drops her lifeless body to the floor in horror Prince Labyrinth walks through the door. He pushes past his brother running out into the courtyard, he climbs the tower as his brother chases behind him. As they reached the top Labyrinth called out to his brother to stop, as Prince Night stood there looking at his brother with red glowing eye's. A cold chill went through Prince Labyrinth, like Johnson's blade went through Night. Looking at his brothers bare chest Labyrinth saw no wound nor scare from the blade, he said "your wound?" in Amazement. Night looked down see no wound, nor even a scare. As the Ravens perched on the wall by Night Labyrinth walks toward his brother in amazement, Night yells out
" STOP!!!  Don't you understand I've turned into whatever that monster was that bit me...did you not see what I did to that poor hand maiden?....I'm a Monster and I must die before I can do harm to another souls" with that Night jumps over the wall. To his and Labyrinths amazement he does not fall but floats in the air. "See I am no longer safe to be around anyone anymore, thank the baron for the land and farewell my brother" as he fly's off to the abandoned castle in the eastern Providence, there he takes the name of Lord Nightspawn as he wonders the countryside searching for damned souls such as himself who wish to live in piece in his realm.
