The night's game proceeded as such:

Awakening in the tavern Nulorgo was clean and hungry. He ventured downstairs to find the elves he had arrived with the night before.

"Oh, it's that smelly hobgoblin!," said one of the elves.

"So what's our adventure?" asked Nulorgo. "We must get the mage and the other elves out of the jail and escape this city." said the leader elf, Riker. "But first we eat," continued Riker.

 

They ventured out into the street when it was dark and with Nulorgo. The plan was to get some uniforms of the cities guards to wear. This was accomplished after ambushing a patrol. The uniforms just fit the elves so Nulorgo was made to pretend being the prisoner being taken to jail. They asked another guard patrol where to take the hobgoblin. They found the jail and approached the front door.

 

"Open up we have a prisoner!" yelled Riker, as he knocked on the door.

"Who are you?" said a voice behind the door.

"We have a nasty hobgoblin prisoner for your gaol." Riker carried on.

"All right bring 'it' in," and the door opened.

Entering a short hall way, the group looked about and saw a guard's desk with keys and a door at the end of the hall. "Where do we take him?" asked Riker. "Through that door," said the seated guard. "Can I see your papers?"

 

The elves attacked in that moment killing the two seated guards in the ante chamber and Riker grabbed the guard at the desk and the keys. They brought the guard under threat to the end of the hall and asked him which key opened the door.

 

"I won't tell you," said the guard. "We'll kill you," said Riker. "Ok it's that key," spoke the guard. He made the right decision thought Nulorgo and got ready for the door to open.

Going through the door they find seven cells and two guards. They kill the guards. Meanwhile a few of the adventurers find the two wizards and the mage and unlock them. They also unlock the other prisoners.

"Where is the secret way out?" Riker asks the guard from the front desk. "Through that cell there," the guard says.

 

They all go through the passage way in the wall and are soon at a small dock on an underground river. They take a boat and are soon sailing along the underground river.

 

The river takes them out of the city. They pass some of the city guards but bluff there way by these guards by pretending they are taking prisoners out of the city.

 

They soon find themselves on a lake. Another ship comes along and attacks them. A wizard attacks them and the ship catches fire. Nulorgo and a few elves jump over board. Nulorgo must take his armor off or he will drown. As the other elves manage to beat off the wizard, the original boat becomes a floating sanctuary for elves and the hobgoblin.

They begin to float away from Phlan.
