The Alchemist's Bench is actually the title of our free newsletter. We publish it on an almost monthly schedule. If you would like to subscribe, please read the following information, then use the link at the bottom of this page to contact us.

Format Options

The newsletter is available in four formats:

• Text only, no attachments
• Text only, with attachment file
• HTML e-mail, no attachments
• HTML e-mail with attachment

Attachments

The optional attachment file is provided in ZIP format, so you have to have an unZip utility to benefit from it. Each month's file contains whatever graphic documents are appropriate to the current issue of the newsletter, so you may find quest maps, character cards and similar playing aids. Some months, there is no attachment file.

The attachment file may exceed 1 MB in size. Please do NOT request the attachment file if you do not have BOTH of the following:

• a fast enough internet connection to handle large downloads
• enough space on your hard drive to store them.

If you cannot receive files of that size, never fear. Our articles always include URLs from which you can download the individual items that are in the attachment.

HTML Format

Most popular e-mail programs can now display messages formatted with proportional type in multiple sizes, boldfacing, bullet points, and indentation. If the program that you use to read your mail supports these features, you will probably find our HTML format more enjoyable to read than the text version.

If you are unsure whether your e-mail program supports these features, please contact us and ask for a test message.

Even if your program doesn't support HTML messages, we format the text version carefully for maximum readability.
