1-Sending - yes, he can send alright.

2-Gliding - To say Felár is a good glider is an understatement. He has been developing his talent long and hard, through rigorous training and meditation. Felár can easily carry two people while gliding and cover long distances when traveling through the air. This was one of his abilities which got him the position of one of the Celestial Elite. Midhei's crystal star on his chest only augments his naturally strong talent.

3-Telekinesis - Felár can effortlessly lift a rock into the air with his telekinetic abbility. But far more deadly are the small pebbles, splinters and branches, which he can accelerate to incredible speeds, making them improvised, but still very deadly bullets. As Darshy's uniform is pure metal, Felár's is covered with small metallic ornaments, shaped like disks or stars. In minutes of danger the pretty glittering scales turn into a surprisingly effective weapon. Felár's ability to control flying objects is the reason he will NEVER miss while shooting. And that's why archery is so boring to him - there is not chance the arrow will not find it's target if Felár is shooting that arrow.

4- Self Shaping - The skill of the High Ones was lost to their children who carried too much of the Adobe's matter in their blood. But Felár spent millennia within his mother, part of the the crystal and part of one of the greates magic wielders on Adobe. Fountain kept the power destined to die in her newborn alive. Though not very strong, a High Ones's shape-changing talent came through in Felár. He is able to change his appearance relatively easily. Most of the time he uses his gift to mingle among the humans unnoticed.

5 - Palace Bond - Felár's bond to Fountain can't be broken by distance or time. Wherever Felár is he will be able to tell where she and the palace are. He is also able to communicate with Fountain on the very basic level, sending emotions and receiving her feeling. He is the only one on Midhei able to do that.

Mundane Skills:

Magic maybe beautiful and useful, but only a fool could ever rely on magic only to survive. Felár knows this simple wisdom all too well.

1 - Hunting/Tracking - Felár is a much better hunter then warrior. It doesn't mean tat he can't protect himself or Sky Holt if needed, but he doesn't see the fun or excitement or even useful purpose in fighting with a sentient being. Felár's speciality is tracking big game for the hungry Palace dwellers.

2 -Swordplay - Felár's weapon of choice if he HAS to fight at close range. It was crafted by Darshy himself and is a perfectly balanced thin long sword. Felár is quite good with it and enjoys mock duels or the entertainment of the Winter Queen.

3 - Survival - Felár knows how to make fire, find water, make a sleeping place and generally how to survive in the wilderness. And he can cook, but only good enough to survive.  

4 - Eagle's Vision - Felár has excellent sight. Great for stalking prey from 1,000 feet up in the air.

5 - Owl's Wings - Felár is very silent when needed. Which is fairly easy if the only thing you touch is the air around you.

6 -Human lore - since he spent so many years among human kind Felár knows a lot about the five fingers and can both speak and read several human languages with ease. And he is fascinated with their ways.

7 - Chevalier - Felár has a knack for being charming to the beautiful sex in almost every situation. There is so much life in the golden eyed warrior and he so honestly enjoys it, few women can withstand his boyish smile.

8- Art of Love - yes, he is a playboy and a skirt chaser. But just think - he had a LONG time to practice.

Build: Perfect. His body is one of Midhei's masterpieces.

Complexion: Deep tan. He spends a lot of time outside of the protective walls of SkyHaven as is his duty as a member of the Celestial Elite.

Eyes: He has unforgettable glowing gold and amber eyes. The remind one of liquid fire. Their shape is slanted, rimmed with dark eyelashes.

Hair: A cascade of silky, straight, red black hair which goes beyond his waist. Usually worn carelessly open, with random braids, flowers and beads woven in by the loving hand of his current mistress. When outside the SkyHolt his black mane is tightly braided and put up in a Japanese style bun at the back of his head, with the skull cap over it

Height: 6'2"

Noticeable Features: None. His body is perfect.

Clothing: Wears the uniform of the Celestial Elite. Black bodysuit with high boots, and leather gloves with dark stone ornaments (think jet stones). There are also scale type decorations on his chest and his shoulders, which create a mesmerizing pattern in the center of which is the seven sided Star. Hair kept covered by the traditional skull cap of the celestial elite. If not on duty Felár prefers loose fitting robes in bright colors.

Artifacts: Crystal Star of the Celestial Elite woven into the center plate of his uniform. Given to him, and shaped by Midhei.

History:

Felár is the son of Fountain and Flame, born after his mother willingly went into the catatonic state to become the water giver of SkyHaven. Due to low metabolic rate of his mothers body and the fact that she spent most of her strength to gather water for SkyHaven's dwellers Felár developed very slowly. It took him more then 5,000 years to finally be born. It was Midhei herself who eased the catatonic Sleeper's birthing pangs, easing the deformed child into the world. She also flesh shaped his beautiful body, for Felár was born deformed (5 millennia on the edge of life can't produce a cute happy baby). He was raised by Visla, Midhei's attendant and fell in love with Ri'Ling, a gentle elf maiden with eternal eyes. The two had a son Kai with the help of a healer. Shortly after the baby was born Ri'Ling claimed she Recognized the SkyHaven itself. She spent several weeks wandering through the corridors of the palace but finally could not bear the call any longer and committed suicide by morphing with the palace's stone. She said she wanted to be with her beloved forever. Many dark rumors were going around at that time about the true nature of Ri'Ling's madness.

Distressed and upset about the mysterious death of his beloved Felár let SkyHaven leaving Kai in the care of his foster mother Visla. He spent more then 1,000 years on the surface of Adobe before he once again returned to SkyHaven. Upon returning Felár became the member of the Celestial Elite and served Midhei faithfully for more then 2,000 years. But then he left SkyHaven once again by order of Midhei who wanted to know what has changed in the human world during this time. Felár scouted the world of Adobe, returning for short visits to Sky haven with reports for the Winter Queen. On one of his surface trips he fund a group of cat riding elves. Unexpectedly for him Felár recognized one of them, the huntress Goldmist. She was also the one to give him the name Owl. Goldmist bore a son Lark, who rejected the high blood of SkyHaven and a daughter whom she named Whirlwind and Felár named Aeri. Aeri inherited a lot from her father but Felár let her with Goldmist and the cat elves for she was too young to be introduced in Sky Haven when he had to leave. Later, when he came back, all of the cat tribe disappeared and so Felár returned once again to Midhei, mourning for the loss of his family. He is now still serving the Winter Queen as one of the Celestial Elite.
