1 Deepsensing, very powerful, can pick up the surface thoughts from just about anyone unless they are on guard against him. Picks up the surface thoughts of anyone within about thirty feet. Can shield himself from other deepsensers farely thuroughly. His power is heightened by touching someone so he rarely touchs people. His power has grown stronger with a gift of Palace crystal from Midhei. Can pry deeper into people's minds if concentrating on one person at a time. Can percieve animal minds but not their particular thoughts. Can read humans and preservers with ease.

2 Sending but hates to do so. Already too intact with most minds.

Mundane Skills:

1 Weapons. Very good with weapons, always has a knife on him somewhere. Better with weapons than any one knows. Practices in secret.

2 Stealth, an excellent spy, utterly silent and very patient.

Eyes: Yellow green but depending on mood can darken to an emerald green (like when angery.) When very scared or worried his eyes pale to yellow.

Clothing:

Elegant, sort of Victorian. Vests, pants, coats with fur trim, or feathers. Likes White. Silk shirts with big sleeves, boots with a two or three inch heel. Has a pearl choker with what looks like a large blue diamond, it is infact Palace crystal cut to look like a diamond. It sharpens his Deepsensing

Artifacts: Palace crystal choker, given to him by Midhei so he could spy on the minds of Sky Haveners. He wears it all the time. Can read minds in fact quite easily.

History:

Vashni was born of recognition to Rimmon and Sidra. His father was very strict and wanted Vashni to follow in his footsteps as one of the Celestial Elite. Vashni couldn't have cared less. He preffered to draw and paint, showing an early interest in clothing design and often hanging out with clothiers. Rimmon never approved or really showed any interest in his son. This hurt Vashni a great deal and he began to despise his father. His deepsensing manifested at about the age of 200. He could get a general mood from people even if they were trying to hide something. Began to see that all was not as it seemed in Sky Haven.

Pursued his power and began to hone it. Never really told any one what he could do but some began to suspect it. Started to hide his power actively. Decided farely quickly how he wanted others to percieve him and has worked to that end. Only Midhei knows the true extent of his powers.

Recognized Khalifa to his surprise. Annoyed that suddenly some one knew so much about him. Set out to keep her under tight control and spied on her constantly. A few years after their daughter was born she disappeared from Sky Haven all together taking their child with her. Turned very bitter overt this. He didn't care that she was gone but he wanted the child. Has vowed to kill Khalifa if she ever comes back to Sky Haven.

Quit caring about just about everything and went to Midhei to show her his power. She was farely impressed and gave him the Palace crystal so he could be an even better spy. Once he got the crystal his deepsensing was honed a great deal. He could easily pick up the surface thoughts of just about anyone. Started to see all the things people hid from each other and all the ways that people hurt each other. Became very cynical and jaded.

His parents recognized again around that time and his sister Lanka was born. He found the child absolutely inscutable and was the first to notice she was retarded, but he never said anything. When his mother committed suicide he blamed Lanka and began to despise the child.

Rimmon looses face with Midhei ( somehow, I don't know) and Midhei decides to set some pawns in motion. Word gets around to Vashni that it was his father who helped Khalifa and Shashu escape. Vashni confronts his father and after some careful questioning finds out that the rumor is true. Rimmon also lets it slip that he knows about Vashni's talent, Rimmon's father had such a talent as well so he knew what to look for and how to sheild himself. Vashni kills his father and Midhei helps him hide that in exchange for Vashni's soulname.

Custody of Lanka falls to Vashni and he exploits her as much as possible. Has tried to get in to her mind but she is a total blank to him.

Personality: Bitter. Jaded, hates people and everything they do. Has dedicated himself to being a bad person because he believs that that is all people are capable of. Outwardly he is charming even effeminate. In private he is bitter with a quick violent temper. Has been abusive to Lanka at times out of frustration he has beat her. Believes that love is non existant, its something people say or do only to hurt each other later. Well acquainted with evil. Sees only the bad things in life. Knows about what people really do and think than he wants. Sometimes gets really drunk to dull his powers. Has found out that he really doesn't want to know how horrible people are. An assasine if Midhei asks that of him. Does whatever she tells him because frankly he doesn't care about life or people that much. Hates everyone and everything. Unhappy and very cynical.

Has very few lovers as he has a hard time touching people. Has had only two or three short lived relationships in his life.
