Channel 4 ARE abandoning their NFL coverage (well there's been all sorts of reports and disscussions, and just this week confirmed this stupid decision)... it was C4 that got me interested in the game, and the programmes (with the brilliant Gary Imlach) are damn fine. Now the channel that was so say committed to minority sports is dropping American Football from it's schedules - to try to reduce the "Americanisation" of the channel. Why drop that and not some of the bad U.S. sitcoms/chatshows that fill up the rest of the time? Je ne comprends pas!
If you care about this at all (hey I don't mind if you don't)
EMAIL
them to let them know that we want American Football on Channel 4... where it belongs. Alternatively, just abuse them for a stupid decision and this is a good place to do it
Okay... C4 have finally confirmed that they are dumping the NFL in favour of athletics (what?!!). So if you email them at all... just let 'em know what a stupid bunch of ***** they are.
Right, rant-mode cancelled and back to normal service
