Merry met, my name is DarkKaaos or Mike if you will. I'm 15 years old and living in the small developing town of Herndon, Virginia (About 20 minutes away from DC). I go to Herndon High School as a 9th grader this year and hopefully going on to 10th grade next year. I've lived in Herndon all of my life and in the same house I was born in. In 3rd grade my mom decided to take me out of public school and teach me at home. That continued up through 7th grade. The following year I was put back into the public school system as an 8th grader.
My hobbies and things I like to do very in many different directions. I like a lot of different styles of music such as Industrial, Rock, R&B, New Age, and a little Ska. Some of the bands that fall into these categories that I would consider my favorites are...Nine Inch Nails, KoRn, Marilyn Manson, Creed, Our Lady Peace, 311, Sublime, Madonna, Tori, Enya, and Nirvana. Other things I like are computers, movies, TV, net surfing, graphic and webpage design, Role-Playing, photography, driving, and hanging out with my friends.
I sometimes find myself in situations where I'm giving tons of advice to my friends when they are having problems, so I have become a good listener and a good giver of helpful advice. I like meeting new people both on the Internet and in the real world...it's always kind of exciting when you meet a person, that you've been talking to for months, for the first time.
I have grown up in a Christian home, my fathering growing up Catholic, and my mother growing up Christian and up until about 2 years ago I had gone to church every Sunday, prayed before eating, read the bible, etc. But then I found it quite boring and I wondered to myself if Christianity was the right path for me. I thought for awhile (almost a year and a half) and finally came to the decision that I would like to learn about Wicca. I bought books, read articles, talked to Pagans, and visited websites on the Internet. I found myself really interested in the ways of a nature based Religion so I kept with my studies of Wicca and I now consider myself Wiccan.
