Untitled

Fire from the depths
That rose unto the heights
Consuming all within its path
Yet casting off no lights

Rage, a force at once consuming
And a power unto itself
All within its thrall are sightless
Though they see the world around

And though a force unstopping
Weakness it will leave behind
Death and violence are its calling
And has power to stop the mind

Light an darkness have no meaning
For all within this Night are blind
Power it has to bring great sorrow
And, if allowed, will rule the mind

Blackness of the mind unfeeling
Darkness that has smothered light
Rage, that is all consuming
And has become a human plight

Rage is a lonely road
One no man should have to walk
One I have walked far to often
And have walked for far too long
