Choices

If you had a chance to do it over
And live your life again
Would you choose to be who you are today
Or would it be worth the pain?

If you had a moment to think it through
Would you not be you?
Or would you have wisdom to heed the bard --
"To thine own self be true."

But if I let you see what you might become
What would you choose to be:
The stranger whose like you'd get to live
Or the face in the mirror you see?
