Independence Daymy first scenario For 4 players (One team of Aliens and Predator, and another of two Marine players) The Predators and Aliens have formed a loose alliance in the midst of war between them and the earth. Planning an invasion force to earth, the predator offers a young queen with several other aliens passage aboard his ship. They land and dock at an airlock far from the center of the human civilization, where the aliens immediately begin their routine. Knowing that the odds are against them, the lone predator has to signal an orbiting ship to send down reinforcements. Since his communicator was somehow damaged from a little alien-acid accident the night before, he has to search out the human's territory and find a way to signal the others. All this time, the military has detected the arrival of an unidentified ship and prepare to search it out and destroy anything inside. Because of the war, earth does not want any possible contamination from alien hosts. What they do not know of is the impending task force waiting for them. For this scenario, here is a map of how the locations are laid out. The "--" means they are connected, "==" means they are not connected. If they appear to be in a straight line up and down, they are connected in that manner. The "--" that leads to nothing are just space holders (ignore them). -------------------------[Com C] --------------------------[_E_] [Cry C]--[_I_]----[C]----[MC]--[O]---[T]---------[LQ] -------------------[IC]==[DB]======[mh]======[B] -----------[PS]---[HA]===========[K]---[A]--[WL] -------------------[BC]

Predator- Any one predator except for Honored Elder (he disagrees of the alien alliance from his past years of battle) and Eager Youth (he is not honorable enough to participate in such a grand battle). The predator may have up to 25 honor points worth of stuff already on him. The Young Tusk will come in later, so set him and his stuff off to the side. Marines- Start with 4 characters each. No copies may be played (i.e. 2 Bishops) for both players. You may substitute any supporting characters in place of your starting marines. Deck Restrictions- No player may have any locations within their deck, otherwise, same as the contact scenario. Special Rules- All movement through hived locations slows movement by 1 except for aliens. Predator must first proceed to the Communications Center and rotate to signal the other predator. To be successful, he must remain rotated for the next 2 turns to override the human passwords used there. After 2 consecutive full turns of being rotated, he readies, and a Young Tusk appears in the Docking Bay with up to 10 honor points worth of items. Aliens may still find supporting characters. Marines may still find and use supporting characters who all gain the ability to use military arms, because they are deputized to help fight.Hand Welder special rules are in effect. Also, no effect may be played that adds, removes, or changes the location of a location except the Hand Welder. Victory occurs when all of the opposing team is destroyed. |
