It is always good to keep a photograph of every pony in your collection. These can be used for easy reference or for showing. However, there are some things you should know before you start.
A big part of a good photograph is the backround. Remember that your goal should be to make the pony look as real as possible. This means that backdrops are appropriatly sized and props are close to the same scale. Please refer to our examples for inspiration:
Also, try to make the backdrop appropriate to that pony. For instance, photograph Sprinkles in front of a Waterfall. I also recommend using flowers for hair and as ground decor. They add a nice touch of class. In most cases, to get the perfect shot you will have to get down to the pony's level; so, don't be afraid to experiment! Another key factor is lighting. ALWAYS photograph in full sunlight!! You will get the best results that way. Feel free to email me your photographs as I am always interested!
