Secret Weapon is the hottest, most exciting Asian rock band in the Eastern
United States, playing the full gamut of American rock music styles, from
classic and metal rock to rap and hip-hop, as well as traditional Lao and
the hottest Thai contemporary rock music. The band has enjoyed extensive
touring, including noteworthy concerts in California, Minnesota, Illinois,
Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This year's concert schedule
will take them to Michigan and North Carolina, with two return engagements
scheduled in both Minnesota and California. Secret Weapon is also planning
an upcoming tour of Asia.
WHO ARE THEY?
Secret Weapon came together in 1992. Four members of the band are Lao, Bon
(singer), Khoune (lead guitar), Ko (bass) and Sith (drums). Gary, the
second singer in the group, is American, and the rhythm guitarist, Long,
is Vietnamese.
OUR HISTORY
The band grew out of the intense musical interaction that developed
between Bon and Gary, a vital component of the glorious friendship they
have enjoyed. Their music is a celebration of that friendship, and has
resulted in the creation of more than 30 new songs, enough original material
to fill more than four albums! Next year's debut album will contain many
of these songs. And because Secret Weapon was founded within the magic of
friends, their concerts consistently bring people from many different
cultures together in friendship.
