Sorn wears no armor as it would interfere with his casting of magic, and with the use of his abilities. Sorn wears a long black cloak that is a Piwafwi cloak. It does have other enchantments on it as well, making it also act like a ring of warmth, and a cloak of displacement. He wears a pair of black runed bracers on his arms, that are Bracers of Vhaeraun. These bracers have the following powers: 1. Act as Bracers of Defense AC 2, 2. Make the weilder immune to all Lloth worshippers magical attacks, and the attacks from the snake headed whips, 3. Decieve Prying at will(as the Priest spell), 4. Increase the weilders Dexterity by 2. On his feet are a pair of black Boots of Drow Elvenkind, which makes him totally silent anywhere. Sorn wields a sabre and a jagged long dagger when in battle. They both have magical abilities, the sabre is known as "Soulstealer". It was crafted by Sorn after his previous weapons were shattered during a failed attempt by Lloth to kill him. Soulstealer glows with a fire the colour of freshly spilled blood, and acts as a sabre of lifestealing, draining the lifeforce of the victim once it's powers are innacted. This draining of lifeforce also allows the other abilities of the blade to be used. It has various powers, ranging from detecting enemies at will, to allowing the weilder to heal himself completely. The other blade is a Parrying Dagger of Venom. It's blade is able to split into 3 parts in order to catch an opponent's blade. Sheathed within his bracers are a pair of throwing daggers, both with a +2 enchantment, aswell as a pair of magical daggers sheathed within his boots. On his hands he wears a pair of rings, one is a Ring of Wizardry, which doubles the amount of spells he can cast between 1st and 3rd level, and he also wears a Ring of the Drow, which allows his abilities to be used upon the surface. He also wears a necklace, which also bears Vhaeraun's symbol, it acts as a Necklace of Adaption. He also carries his House Insignia within his neck pouch, which offers certain spell like abilities, plus he also carries two sets of thieves tools.
Sorn could best be described as being slightly different than the rest of his dark kin, including his family. He was never as evil as his kin, though he relished and enjoyed the chaotic nature and the constant danger that the drow society lived within. Sorn was born Elderboy of House Duskryn, above his brother Vrinn. When Sorn was of age, he began to train in the magical arts, for even though he could be a capable fighter, his mind was by far sharper than his hands, and he was never as good as his brother, who his family valued more. Despite his knowledge, he was never really seen to be completely with Lloth, so when he was but 40 years old, his older sisters Talic and Laele led their younger brother into the vast caverns of the Underdark, and prepared to murder their younger brother so as to please Lloth and gain her favour. They had left him for dead, and Sorn would have died, if it were not for a passing group of drow. They took Sorn to their encampment within the Underdark and healed him and enlightened his mind even further. For these drow were not like the others Sorn had known, they followed and valued a new god to Sorn named Vhaeraun. Sorn quickly became interested in this new god, and under the training of Naryle, Sorn began to train in the arts of the shadows and thievery, plus he continued to increase his magical knowledge. Soon after a number of failings, he began to also train in the use of weapons, which he eventually mastered his chosen pair of weapons, the sabres. Sorn quickly mastered all of his new and old skills and eventually became a strong employee of the Masked Lord. In fact, Vhaeraun took notice of this new found follower, and offered him great promises. Sorn then became the Chosen of Vhaeraun, and with that title, he was given a pair of runed covered bracers that would protect him from the followers of Lloth. Despite Sorn's new found life, a fire burned within his soul, that wanted him to reclaim his lost nobility. He swore to himself that one day, he would return to Menzoberranzan and reclaim his title of Elderboy. For many years the followers of Vhaeraun lived within their encampment, until one day, when Naryle proclaimed that they must travel to the surface and set up a village under the guidings of Vhaeraun. This was Sorn's first encounter with the surface, and through it, he became an experienced adventurer, and also found employment as an assassin. Many years passed, and Sorn had become experienced with many parts of the surface, but he decided that now was the time to return to Menzoberranzan and reclaim his title. He did so, but only at the cost of his brother Vrinn's life. Sorn continues to live within the House Duskryn Compound, with his younger brothers, and sisters, though he has no love for Lloth, he cares for the survival of his House, and will protect it's standings no matter that cost.
Even though Sorn may not be as evil as the rest of his dark kin, he is by no means a "goodie twoshoes". He enjoys the chaos and danger his life brings him constantly, plus he also enjoys the killing he does. He is a very deceptive individual, for he pretends to feel one thing, but inside, he is feeling something totally different, this is what makes him such a good agent of Vhaeraun the Masked Lord, for Sorn worships only Vhaeraun and kills in his name, yet he pretends to be like the rest of the drow, a Lloth loving maniac.
